August 3Aug 3 They got rid of Nettles but kept some of the story - non-spoiler belowA 16-year-old commoner of uncertain parentage who successfully claimed the wild dragon Sheepstealer by bringing him a freshly slaughtered sheep every morningDeveloped a close, ambiguous bond with Prince Daemon Targaryen, which ultimately leads to a spoiler that started last nightConsidering they did the whole maybe a non-Targ dragon rider thing anyway, not sure why they didn't use the character for what unfolds later. As for the show. It has its moments that are good to great, and others where I just DGAF. Can't wait for certain things to happen now so the story can just move on from the stale stuff we've been given.
August 3Aug 3 From last nightSunfire showing up and having the same face as Aegon now was awesome - loved that scene. We need more of him and less of Rhaenyra at this point - the first two seasons were designed to make you feel sympathetic towards the Blacks but this season has been a reversal of that for me.
