Would have taken the risk with Wilson.  Let's hope this guy develops, he's got the size.

Looks like a hell of an athlete but, I don't like projects in the 3rd round.

So, started as a safety, ended up as a linebacker, but also described as an edge rusher. I'm going to need this one explained to me, but still... in Howie I trust

According to Daniel Jeremiah eagles had him for a visit and Fangio loves him

Safety turned LB. Should be good in coverage. And Fangio really wanted him apparently.

Reddick was a safety that turned linebacker so not always true

He also is projecting as more of a DE/LB so I’m not so sure about him being a coverage guy either.

He'll get a chance to learn from Graham this season.

He will be an assistant coach?

Yep. Wilson can play. Even missing an ACL.

I was so excited when we drafted that guy, thought he would be a monster. Then Spads phoned him, asked him how he was marking the draft. 'Just laying on the bed, looking at the ceiling' he said, kind of Private Pyle vibes..

He died aged 30. Doctors examined his brain and found signs of CTE. I think we sometimes forget just how brutal football can be.

IDK this team seems to have more pressing needs than a prospect DE. Could use more depth at OT, TE, RB, LB, S, and WR. Kind of a let down considering how long we had to wait to get the pick.

Apparently fangio loves him and he is a freak athlete so I'll hold judgement just would have liked someone a little more ready to play

At least Howie waited this long to pick his project I guess. Not as bad as Canadian Fireman round one.

I don’t mind Howie taking risks, but not sure I love it in this spot. More pressing needs. Not even sure if he can play special teams.

Props to Howie though, all D picks, two CBs straight up to defy all convention and tradition. And then a (kind of) linebacker? He's seeing things differently

I'd prefer "projects" go round 5-7. Round 3 you are still looking for potential starters.  But we got our CBs so I'm good.
