Not a great look for Ringo to not be there as a 2nd year guy who barely played.

If the plan is for the nickel and safety roles to blend a bit, this makes sense.  And... CJGJ has played both nickel and safety.   Maddox has played both nickel and safety... and that was the talk regarding Dejean all during the lead up to the draft.   Is he a nickel, a safety or an outside CB?    Cross train and the defense can be more disguised.   It could be a matter of responsibilities flipping between nickel and one safety with a man going in motion across the formation, and not require the nickel to follow, and still be playing man to man... or any other coverage.

Hard to say, I think they also just need bodies right now at S. They only have 4 healthy ones.

I was just looking last night to see where next years is. Thinking maybe Id plan a trip. Hoping for vegas. You know where it is? Green Bay. lol.

Where is a little town like Green Bay toing to hold all those people? Or, where are people going to come from? And, its still going to be freezing in Green Bay during that time most likely.

Stupid...

Pittsburgh... maybe I can do.

Lane Johnson, DeVonta Smith, Josh Sweat and Kelee Ringo also not there.

Zack Baun is with the off-ball LB'ers

Smith and Sweat holding out for new deals?

That can also be true.

I hear Justin Evans is still available.

He can be the boss and he can also let Fangio do his thing. Keep it like Pederson did with Schwartz.

Or Boone did with Yoast

We've already been told it's still Nicks offense sadly

They have said multiple things over time.

"It's Nick's offense" "It's going to be a blend of offenses with Nick's being the base and adding concepts from Moore" "It's a collaboration"

Any none of them says it's Moore's offense

I'm not sure how well Fangio and Sirianni will get along either when it comes to on field since Fangio is definitely old school where as Nick is in that new coach mold like McDaniel. I hope Nick remains predominately hands off on the defense side because I can see easy conflicts with his approach vs Fangio's. Also don't want to see a bad cop/good cop dynamic with so many young players.

I think Sirianni the tension will not be on field but the physicality and frequency of padded practice.  I am sure Fangio is probably already familiar with out that will work.  I think Sirianni is sort of Pete Carrollish in his approach to players. He's enthusiastic but confronts mistakes.  Certainly he will get on Hurts and that sets the tone for the team.

I guess that's better than Bradberry.

He's BSing and saving face because he has no offense.

He said that last year. He said the offense in 2022 was his offense. Remember when he was calling plays in early 2022 and fans complained about the run game and lack of creativity? He gave play calling to Steichen and "Nick's offense" was not the same, and improved.

"Nick's offense" in 2023 was nothing like 2022 except the brotherly shove. This offense under Moore will look very different. He's claiming it's his offense but watch how different it is.

That’s the one that got my attention.  He had a bit of a reputation in college on coach ability and thinking he was further along than he was.  Hope this isn’t a sign.

Had a major customer in Green Bay so got to visit there several times.  Actually a nice small city.  Not a place I would go for recreational reasons though.

Player press conferences today, asked about Fangio being an "old school coach."

Jalen Carter: said he likes old school, that's how he was raised, that's how his hometown HS was.

Slay: it will be great, Vic will build the team up and bring a lot of energy, and the players always like to go hard, he's spoken to Talib and other corners who have played under Fangio and they've all had good things to say about him.

It's not opinion, it's not what I want. It quite literally is what it is. The offense has looked different under Siri to Steichen to Johnson, that's already known fact. We'll see how different it is under Moore.

I liked that they were showing some motion:

Eagles OTA Practice is over. Couple of things I noticed: Lots of motion to give the QBs some intel. Liked what I saw out of Parris Campbell. He and Isaiah Rodgers had some good battles on the outside   A.J. Brown used all over the field
