Wasn’t it Sean Considine that put on like 20lbs of muscle in like a month one offseason?

Check the time stamps 🤣

Every offseason. We heard it every offseason he was here.

I know it's just voluntary OTA's right now and it's so hard to judge what players are but I stand firm that their deep CB depth can be turned in to some trade assets. Question is, who and are they player for player or player for picks trades.

Having a lot of bodies isn't the same as having good depth.

Ricks is the most likely. I think Howie would prefer a player in return but also wouldn't be completely closed off to stockpiling more 2025 picks whether to use in the draft or flip them at the deadline for players.

I think Rodgers could be an intriguing option too. Besides just being depth, he doesn't really fit this year. He doesn't really fit long term either. He's on a one year deal and if he's good, are we going to extend him even though we used a 1,2 and 3 on Mitchel, DeJean and Ringo? Or is he just going to leave for more money and an easier path to playing? Hard to say with him.

True but I'm with bpac here. Even without Bradberry and you don't like Rick/Jobe you've got Rodgers, Ringo, Hall, Maddox as backups who could step up. At least on paper

Without his mom there, who is Williams going to cry to?

I think they keep anywhere from 10-12 DB total with Sidney Brown being on the PUP list. They have 3 players in CJGJ, DeJean and Maddox who can all play multiple positions so that goes a long way too.

17 DB are battling it out in camp.

CB: Slay, Mitchell, Rodgers, DeJean, Ringo, Hall, Ricks

Safety: Blankenship, CJGJ, Maddox, Garner

PUP: Brown

Andre' Sam, Tristan McCollum, Shon Stephens, Josh Jobe, Zech McPhearson, Mario Goodrich are the leftovers for PS/IR/Trade candidates...maybe

When it comes to Eli Ricks, Zech McPhearson and Josh Jobe, I think it comes down to who brings back the best value in a trade. There isn't too much of a difference in their level of play IMO. Right now I have Ricks on the roster but that easily could be Jobe or McPhearson too.

I still think Ringo has the highest upside of that 2nd tier CB group on the team and wouldn't be shocked if a CB needy team offered a nice package for him.

You think they have to add another WR at some point, but then again they did draft two of em. Depending on who's available though if a name they covet can be acquired I don't think the players they took would prohibit them from adding that guy. It's not like they spent a 2nd rounder on a WR. But going into camp with Parris Campbell(who sucks, let's be real) as the favorite to be your slot guy is ehhh...

I think the better approach will be play the rookies to help them develop. My guess is that if they think Campbell isn't it, they will add another veteran before camp.  If they get through training camp and the rookies look mehh, they will add a veteran at that point.

I don't understand why there hasn't been any interest in Hunter Renfrow from any team. He might just be a slot guy but the guy is an elite route runner and a mismatch. I'd be all in on him if they can.

I'm officially out on and MLFootball or Dov Kleiman takes.

This is a dart? This makes you think a team will be lethal? A 5 yard slant in 7v7?

Just being honest here………I see better catches on Sports Center top 10 daily. Rojas, who is horrendous, probably would have circled this and caught it with his momentum moving forward.

How about the great Willie Mays Hays?

Don't tell @austinfan. He still has all the Considine stock.

CB's are stepping up. Easily the deepest position on the team

QBs don’t have much experience with the majority of the WRs at this point and the assumption that those drills were offense focused is potentially incorrect. OTAs are a great time to stretch capabilities and target certain areas, including turnovers for the D.  CBs are deep in bodies but talent wise? This is the fourth practice where D v O was allowed.

How original. Another all black City Connect uniform from Nike.

Why Garner over McCollum?  Garner looked slow last summer.  4.55 forty for Garner, 4.48 for McCollum.  6.94 3 cone versus 6.72 3 cone.

Why Ricks?  (Seems you said as much.) Thought he looked pretty bad at times last year.  He is slow. Liked his quickness to the ball at times but others he seemed clueless. I Don’t know if McPhearson has lost his speed but if not, has inside and outside flexibility. Jobe is a ST demon. Seems early to award Hall a spot.
