Clever. When they play in Green Bay in the snow they’ll be invisible.

Saquon was the whole offense for those terrible teams. Teams also with a dreadful OL.

Saquon will have bigger running lanes than he's ever had in the NFL. He will also be getting hit more by LBs and S, rather than DL.

My biggest Saquon concern is giving him too big of a workload. He shouldn't get an 80% snap share.

Dismal.  They went the wrong direction; black and purple actually go together, so a 3rd jersey as a black/purple mesh would work for them.

The LA Kings had the NHL's best jersey for a time:

We won’t know anything about the lineman until training camp. There’s nothing to know without pads.

They are still doing 11v11's and in coverage.

Like I said, it's early. We'll see if he can move up. It's just not ideal that coaches feel Graham should get first team reps over Smith.

He can't help it. It's his nature.

P.S. What's the RAS for trolling?

It's always the ones that cry about trolling that do it the most.

They hired Moore to run his offense, but it's not like Nick doesn't have a track record as well. And Nick knows what the Eagles have been running, which is useful to Moore b/c he wants as much continuity as possible, so he's adding rather than totally revamping and have everyone start from ground zero.

It’s a hybrid determined by the players’ strengths and capabilities to run the plays, what has worked in the past, what wrinkles they can install etc.  This suggestion that it’s Nick’s offense or Moore’s offense is nonsense.  It’s Hurts’ offense primarily with Moore calling the plays.  The plays come from everywhere, other programs, Nick, Kellen, Stout, Patullo, Nussmeier, Pagnetti, Singleton, Moorehead, Micheal, Valero, Yelk and Dickerson and probably even defensive and ST coaches and even scouts.  But the architects are Nick and Moore.  But everyone has their assignments in addition to teaching position fundamentals. It does sound like they are incorporating more motion.  But is that because of Moore or is it the success other teams have had with it, that Miami twist.  I’d argue that it is all of that.

Amen. We couldn't cope with SF's offensive motion. That was scheme more than talent, imho. Fangio, having seen it all, will not be overwhelmed.

Yup, it's pretty concerning. He seems like a guy who can really thrive in a Fangio defense, but he's gotten off to a really slow start this year and obviously wasn't great last year.

Hopefully he turns it around pretty quick.

By reports hurts has thrown a bunch of interceptions so far. He had a down year last year. Barkley has had to carry offenses before. Its not trolling to point these things out.

In no-contact reps his game disappears, as it does for DL, OL, and LBs. This is a passing camp.

If they could somehow do something that actually resembles Vikings then that'd be cool. Take some inspiration from the tv show

Yup, but the fact that he isn't sniffing first-team reps is concerning, just as Becton taking guard reps is encouraging. These practices from our standpoint are pretty useless, but the one thing they do accomplish is to give us some insight into the depth chart and how guys might be used. And from that perspective, Smith has some work to do.

Good interviews with Q, Dejean and Becton.  Seems like the overall theme is that everybody is buying into the team and doing whatever is asked of them.  All talked highly of the support they are getting from fellow teammates, coaches and the family feeling.

As odd as it sounds, Becton vs Steen might be a TC battle to watch.

Not sure that is odd at all.

It probably comes as no surprise that I'm very excited about Becton. It's not just the versatility they're developing with him at guard, it's also the specific demands of the position. Guards play lower than tackles and if he's working there it's an indication his knee is feeling pretty good.

Ideally, Steen wins that spot and Becton is the swing tackle.  I think they would prefer that because, if something happens to the OTs, they don't have to change 2 positions along the line.

The architects determine whose offense it is.  If Nick AND Moore are the architects, then this isn't Moore's offense, this becomes a Frankenstein's monster situation.  If Moore decides, alone, what goes into the offense, and he is the sole architect, then it is Moore's offense.

And no, this is not 'Hurts' offense'.  It may be an offense that best suits his skill set, but Hurts is not the architect of the offense.   In this analogy, he might be the foreman, he might be the chief engineer, but the offense doesn't belong to him.  His primary job is execution of the design, not creating the design.   Yes, elements of the offense comes from many sources, but there needs to be a SINGULAR voice in charge of what goes and what doesn't with the offense, and for me... that voice needs to be unequivocally be the voice of Moore.  This should be his show.

I think they would rather have the best 5 guys on the field.
