Greenlaw is a gigantic tool, but that had to be a gut punch of epic proportions. Felt a little conflicted about seeing that happen to him.

I was conflicted about which fist to pump into the air when I saw it.  Greenlaw is a scumbag and I hope he has many setbacks in his recovery.

I'm surprised they're letting Dom go to Brazil after him and Brian stole that vault from the police station

Fun fact, you are roughly three times more likely to be murdered in Philadelphia than you are in Sau Paulo.

If that fun fact is a true fact, I'm surprised by this. I imagine though in both cases, if one is wise enough to avoid certain areas the odds of getting out alive increase substantially.

Would you be pleased to see the owner of the Phillies and several Phillies players go fly down to attend and root on the Cowboys in Dallas in a NFC Championship game that they are hosting?

Folks should calm down.  This entire thing started at a Brazilian teams’ home game stadium; with an announcer telling the fans not to wear green as a joke.  You know - the same way fans shouldn’t wear Dallas jerseys at an Eagles home  game.

Nothing about wearing green has anything to do with gangs in Brazil.  It’s about a rivalry with another soccer team.

And out of curiosity, did anyone bother looking at the Brazilian flag?🇧🇷

A whole lotta green in that flag.

You’re an idiot. Follow the team. Plenty of writers this offseason have said the team is high on VanSumeren and are impressed with his athleticism.

If there was anything I was wrong about it’s he actually mixed in on second team defense and not just third like I said. And that's because, you know, they like him.

It wouldn't bother me a bit.   We know Lurie is from New England.  We know Lurie tried to buy the Patriots before he bought the Eagles.   It hasn't affected his ownership of the Eagles in any way, shape or form.

Meanwhile, the owner of the Sixers also owns the Devils in the NHL and now the Washingteam in DC.   It doesn't matter.   Now, if the owner of the Eagles decided to fly down and root for the Cowboys in a playoff game, that's a completely different matter.     These players/owners/etc. had lives before their affiliation with the EAGLES (not the city of Philadelphia) began.   And they are welcome to remain loyal fans of their original teams... or do we only get bent out of shape when Philly players/owners are loyal to their teams, but we hail guys like Mike Trout as local legends because he's still an Eagles season ticket holder even though his entire professional baseball career has been in LA?  Mike Trout is a hero, but Jeff Lurie is a heel?    Nah.  It doesn't go both ways.  If it affects the Eagles on the field, then I'll worry about what these guys do in their spare time.  If they want to take in the NBA Finals, why should it matter to me, you or anyone else?

Sand theft, for God's sake ....

Apparently Ainias Smith was rough on punt duties in OTAs. Muffed several of them. I think he flashed potential in college as a WR though. Still wished they took Malik Washington with that pick, but hopefully he impresses at camp. At least as a slot guy.

He did this a ton in college.

He muffed two punts in college that he scored TDs on.

Yep, there's no chance he's going to be the guy in 2024 for punts. They aren't going to risk him costing him back there especially having Covey who's already good at it.

He also had a drop in 7 on 7s.  I think we should keep in mind that the entire practice isn't open but I would like to hear reports of him doing well.  He's a rookie and isn't likely to be have much of impact this season but if he could contribute as a returner that would be great.

One of the most famous Eagles' punt returns was one that Desean muffed.

That said... I want my punt returner to always be sure handed, no matter how electric he might be once he has the ball.  Ball security - number 1.   Gaining yards - number 2.

Lawsuit: Xavien Howard sent explicit content to ex's son

Former Miami Dolphins star cornerback Xavien Howard sent a male teenager a sexually explicit photograph of the teen's mother because she refused to get an abortion, a new court filing alleges.

The allegation was made Thursday in a lawsuit filed last year by a woman who is not the teenager's mother. The woman who filed the suit accuses Howard, 30, of secretly recording them having sex and then sharing the recordings with others. She says Howard also shared, without consent, sex tapes she had agreed to make.

Attorneys for the woman want the teenager, who is now 18, added as a plaintiff against Howard, who was released this offseason by the Dolphins in a money-saving move and is a free agent. The teenager is the son of another woman who attorneys say also had a relationship with Howard and was recorded having sex with him. That woman has not sued Howard.

"Xavien Howard operates by intimidation and force. Where he goes, destruction follows, and the lives of two individuals have been irrevocably altered because of him," attorneys Cam Justice and Adriana Alcalde wrote in their filing.

"Mr. Howard denies the claims and looks forward to prevailing in a court of law," Howard's attorney, Ted Craig, said in a short statement.

In the original lawsuit, filed under the pseudonym Jane Doe, a woman says she dated Howard for several months in 2022. A few months after they broke up, she received an Instagram message from a woman who said Howard had sent her sexually explicit videos of himself having sex with various women, including Doe.

That woman told Doe that Howard had sent her the videos because she spurned his sexual advances. In April 2023, another woman contacted Doe, saying Howard had also sent her videos because she, too, had spurned his advances.

Doe said that she consented once to Howard recording their sexual activity but that other videos were done secretly without her consent.

In the latest filing seeking to add the teen as a plaintiff, he says that in September 2022, his mother and Howard were fighting over her refusal to have an abortion. The woman says Howard is the child's father. The attorneys say Howard texted the teenager a photograph of his mother engaging in sex "in his ongoing crusade to debase and humiliate" the woman and caused "severe emotional distress" to the teenager.

"Howard's conduct was outrageous [and] went beyond all boundaries of decency," Justice and Alcalde wrote in their filing.

The suit is requesting damages in excess of $50,000. No criminal charges have been filed.

Howard played eight seasons with the Dolphins, who drafted him out of Baylor in 2016. He intercepted 29 passes in 100 games and has been selected to four Pro Bowls.

Howard's production declined the past two seasons as he dealt with injuries. He played through groin injuries in 2022 and was limited to 13 games in 2023 because of hip and foot injuries.
