Remind me why we moved on from Bobrovski?

Snider didn't want to wait and see if Bob was any good after he didn't do all that great in his first playoff series. They got bryzgalov and shipped Bob to Columbus. Then two(?) years later they bought out bryz. Awful

40 minutes of Saquon Barkley NFL highlights.  I still can't believe he's on the Eagles.  Greatest college RB in my opinion. Has wasted away his whole career at this point on the absolute worst offense skill wise in the NFL during the time period he has been in the NFL.  One of the worst offensive lines his whole career, terrible QB, terrible WRs and terrible TEs his entire career that he was playing with outside of OBJ his rookie season but OBJ was bad in NY at that point.

Always hoped but never saw the path for him to be an Eagle until this past season ended.  He's going to absolute feast now playing in the most talented offense in the league.  Great offensive line, great WRs, great TE and a great QB.  Everyone is about to see that he is every bit as good, if not better than McCaffrey.

After watching those highlights, I'll be disappointed if Barkley doesn't have at least 20 total TDs.

While I won’t watch a 40 minute clip, and I don’t imagine the Eagles will give Saquon enough snaps - I do hope they get some ROI on his contract. I expect 30-40% more touches than Swift got. At that contract I hope they get their moneys worth.

Just looking at the guaranteed money of Barkley’s contract and projecting salary cap growth at about 8% annually, Barkley will represent about 3% of the cap.  Compare that to what Zeke got relative to the cap back in 2019, his cap percentage was about 6-7% on his guaranteed money.  These numbers are not exact, but close.  It’s not really that bad when you look at it that way.

McCaffrey’s guaranteed money is about 4.5% of their cap. RB contracts were devalued to the point where it looks worse than it really is.

He’ll get several snagged away because of the tush push. I’m moreso hoping for 1,500 yards of total offense.

Closer to 2000. Counting receptions.

It would be nice if there are fewer tush pushes, less wear and tear on Hurts. Let's hope that Siri and Moore don't forget that Barkley can catch too.

In his 4 seasons in DAL, Kellen Moore had the following pass/run breakdowns:

2019 — 597 pass, 449 runs

2020 — 639 pass, 430 runs

2021 — 647 pass, 473 runs

2022 — 556 pass, 531 runs

One of the reasons McCarthy gave for making a change at OC was he thought sometimes Moore got too pass-happy.  Ironically, 2022 was the closest balance they had from a pure numbers standpoint

Alvarado blowing it 🤦‍♂️

Damn. Alvarado has Fed this up big time.

Maybe it's just been recently but I feel like Alvarado  has been awful this season

That was peak anticlimactic

Coaches learn and adapt too.  I think he wants to be closer to 55/45, which is fine.  Even in his worst year he was 60/40 and that was 2020 when the Cowboys D was allowing an average of 30 pts/game.  They were behind a lot playing catch up.

He was looking for a scape goat that wasn't him... So he chose Moore and came up with the excuse of pass-happy, when the last year he was pretty darned balanced.

Agreed

I saw a few innings of the Phillies game on TV. They looked kind of underwhelming if I am being honest - Alvarado could play DT for the Birds at a push and some of the fielding, yikes.

Can see why you lot get so annoyed at them

Prior to today he had given up one hit and no runs in his last five games. It was pretty clear he couldn't deal with that mound.

There was talk earlier in the week that he was done, so not a surprise given how injured he's been for the past couple of seasons.  Made of glass

Always knew he would end up being a bad trade for thr Giants.  Thr national discourse at the time was he would be great for them and he was going far higher in fantasy drafts that I thought was way too high for him.

You can't judge based on a few innings.   Their defense was really great the other day against the Brewers.   It is much improved from previous years.  Much improved.

Unless you get Kelce\Andrews, wasn't worth it getting a TE high last year.  I waited until the 14th round to draft a TE in my money league last year AND made a trade for Kyle Pitts.

I remain master strategist.
