Once reaching RZ or closer, Hurts wanted the ball and the score to himself.  For the team, a score is a score, no matter who gets it.  It could rub wrongly to other skilled players if the distribution is not even.

Quez couldn’t catch an accurate ball, or if he did… He would fall down or not run between easy defenders to miss.  If he had a problem with Quez, or vice versa, it’s not hard to side with the QB on that one.

I will say Hurts’ awkward answer was just that…awkward.  I’m not surprised the media is running with it

What may do it is if people discontinue cable TV bundles and are are able to get channels they want without having to pay to ESPN and the various Regional Sports Networks. How many cable subscribers will drop some or all the sports channels if given the choice? I have no idea but that could certainly influence the inflow of TV bucks.

If you get the big contract your PR team should prepare you for softballs. You’re the face of the franchise. It will likely be mitigated when TC comes around but for now it’s still not ideal for a $250M guy to not have his HC back in a presser, as much of a fraud as Nick may be.

If Hurts doesn’t blow us away with the talent around him this year then it’s likely that Nick is gone and Jalen is on his way out by the end of 2025 season.
