The big game is almost on - couple minutes.  Go Adrian Martinez, who could make a decent backup for Hurts.   Running QBs are best.

Martinez finished the year with 1,741 passing yards and 15 touchdowns while only tossing three interceptions, and he also led the league in rushing with 528 yards and three scores while averaging a blistering 9.8 yards per carry.

Running QB, led the UFL in total rushing yards (not QB rushing yards),  won the MVP, won Championship MVP with a 25-0 win,  2 rushing TDs and 1 passing TD, and would be a good backup for Hurts.  Very similar physically.    Pickett is better, could bring a very good return in a trade if a team loses their starter and don't have a good backup.   The Eagles don't have anyone who can do what Hurts can do, running. Last year,  Mariota could do that.   Minor League MVP,  wins Championship, is MVP in that game.  Does it mostly with excellent running.  Should be in a NFL camp.  Right about now (after winning the championship. the end of the season) is a good time for him to join a NFL team.

Not surprised about just one open practice. It is what it is at this point.

Only one day of joint practices is a bit surprising for all of camp. I wonder if it's scheduling or a strategic decision. It's a big shift from the last few years.

Maybe 4 straight NFC Championship games is expecting a bit much but unless the 'Boys get their heads out or the Giants or the Washington Whatevers improve quickly I can see the Eagles dominating the NFC East as they did in the early 2000s.
