Word coming out is that an attendee in the crowd was killed.  Let's not make light of this.

Just seen people on YouTube saying it was staged too.  Ridiculous.

There is a CVON thread for discussing this. Where some fine people of this board support the attempt. Lets keep it out of this thread, because clearly its going to bring in a lot of garbage.

We can comment on it without being political.

I refuse to let anyone censor our Ben Simmons jokes.

For this thread, the Ben Simmons joke was semi-appropriate.

There's going to be a little overflow discussing the magnitude of the event for something like this.  As long as everyone isn't at eachother's throats arguing about it, it's probably fine to not over-police it for a day whilst implicating Ben Simmons.

Unless someone in here posts something like the stuff thats been posted in CVON and we lose our adsense.... Im not sure a lot of people can help themselves.

A WIP caller is prepping that take as we speak.

Mcnabb would have hit him in the foot.

Anyone condoning this can rot in hell

Really excited to see Saquon in this offense. Hie has everything you want in an RB...vision, speed, agility, power, pass catching.  If they actually commit to the run, he will be a big weapon.

Yea, it's going to be fun watching him on a good team. Saquon as a bell cow not only gives the Eagles a top tier option at RB on nearly every play, it takes Kenny Gainwell off the field.

I get it but it misses the mark. He wouldnt even take shots. Buddy Hield is probably more apt for the joke.

for real.

it grazed the target, tobias harris would've been a good choice too.

Lane Johnson at 5. RT2 behind Sewell.
Mailata at 7. LT5 behind T.Williams, Tunsil, Wirfs, Darrisaw.

Sewell is a beast in his prime. Johnson is still a dominant presence on the field and integral part of our locker room right now so I'm 100% good with him. Lions did a really good job of building their team. Seems as though they took over our spot of having the best o-line in the league too, though we are just behind them at 2. Cam needs to be very good, I think he will be fine but not sure of his ceiling and can he be dominating or one of the top centers in the leaugue? The RG spot is a complete question mark, having these two right next to each other could have some negative ramifications as well. Part of me hopes Mekhi wins that job just for his pure size and strength and the potential domination we could have.

If Garner wins the job, he's set to be a FA next season and would probably be looking at a big payday. If Steen wins the job, he's still here for a couple years on a rookie contract. Clearly, you want the best player to play, but you also want continuity long term if possible.

Anyone watch this Receiver show on Netflix? Any good?

I don't get the hate for Gainwell. Sure, he isn't spectacular but he had done a nice job.  He's a fifth round pick that has averaged 4.3 yds and is good in pass protection as well as pass catching.

Honestly, I think that is why they let Swift walk.  Good back with receiving skills but is horrible in pass pro

He will flourish on his next team as a pass catcher - Hurts doesn’t like to throw to RBs or maybe that’s just how the offense is drawn up

RIP Jacoby Jones

Gainwell caught the stupid situational bug from Miles Sanders. Add that with the coaching staff’s insistence on using him for 2 minute drives and he can be pretty frustrating.

I think coaching is mainly to blame with their usage and weird rotations. I don’t "hate” him but I get why people aren’t his biggest fans.
