She broke the AJ Brown trade, Bryce Huff interest and Saqon Barkley interest before anyone else. She definitely has sources.

She has made a strong case for being one of the most reliable behind Schefter and Rappaport.

Remember when the R-words GM's wife got into a twitter beef with her accusing her of giving head for leads? Fun times.

Connor Williams visiting Seahawks. I thought he would be a good pickup for the Eagles for IOL depth.

Don't sleep on Garner, has good size and enough speed for safety, for most converted CBs, the two issues are tackling and vision/anticipation.

He's physical enough to be a good tackler, but is he smart enough to handle safety?

Garner, in PS last year, didn’t display as much quickness as I would like in a S, albeit a rookie tends to be thinking not reacting a lot of the time so that may be misleading but it tracks with his play.  Frankly, at 6’2” and 212 lbs, I wonder if he could add 15 or so pounds without losing any quickness/speed and convert to a WIL.  Trotter is 6’ 225 lbs, for example.  (Speaking of Trotter, there was a video of LB drills where Trotter was imitating a RB and actually looked like he could run like a RB.  Found that intriguing, not in a role but rather from a ball skill perspective on interceptions or fumbles.).

Calcaterra is strictly H-back material, has to show he has WR type skills to stick, he's not big enough to be an in-line blocker.

Albert O has size and athleticism, but he is no longer a "red shirt" - he has to produce now.

Calcaterra is a bit slow for an HBack.

Back up TE is going to be interesting competition.  What can Calcaterra and Albert O show they learned about blocking from Stout.  Castles can block.  has Jenkins transitioned blocking wise.  He’s making a change from WR.  They need to show value on coverage teams.

The TE depth is a concern.  Most are unproven.  It would be great someone will emerge either as pass catcher or blocking in-line.  In the last couple of seasons, blocking is the main usage of back-up TE, even with 3rd WR.  Perhaps due to the lack of quality receiving TE.  If they can develop another pass catcher, it would give the offence more options.

I don’t care about the Hurts Siri relationship.  Lots of examples in and out of sports of tenuous relationships being highly productive.  That’s quality theater and click bait, but I don’t care.

I care about the adjustment to a new scheme and the longevity of any success once Moore leaves for a HC job.  This is what matters.

If Calcaterra, Albert O and Uzomah are "unproven” at this stage of their careers, they should hang it up.

I hate 12 personnel, so I’m mildly relieved that they chose to go light on TE depth.  (And this was a decision…they could have gone out and gotten a more game ready #2 TE if they wanted).

A short term Goedert injury (and he gets lots of them) is probably fine.  The offense has enough other outlets.  Can’t have plug and play backups at every position.

But even for the packages where 12 personnel would be a nice change of look…you are right…they just don’t have anyone I’d want to see on the field.

Yup.  They are what they are at this point.

Did anyone honestly expect Sydney Brown to NOT be put on PUP prior to training camp? Surely the earliest we could expect him back would be the beginning of October, and I think that is probably stretching it a bit. My guess would be around Halloween. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes a story line of him trying to get back to face the Bengals so that he could face his twin brother.

I think you're likely correct.  It's possible he could get cleared to practice in September.

They could also just take him off PUP before the regular season to avoid missing the first 6 weeks or whatever it is now.

Agree completely on Albert O.  I don’t think there are any doubts about his pass receiving abilities.  He has plenty of highlights to back that up. He must be really bad at blocking to not get his shot yet.

Absolutely… One could even argue that sometimes it’s beneficial. I think Tom Brady and Belichick needed each other to get where they ultimately got.  I could not care less about this ‘news’ either. It’s media fodder for the off-season.

And no, I am not comparing Sirianni to the Hoodie, or Hurts to Brady (some people need disclaimers, so there it is).  It’s just obvious that a head coach and a quarterback do not have to be friends

I chimed in to say to bring it back.

My guess foe remaining Eagles on the top 100 list: Lane, Dickerson, Hurts, AJ, Slay and maybe Jalen Carter although guessing not if he wasn't in the 80-100 already revealed.

Slay doesn't belong anywhere near the top 100.  Carter might project to top 100 for next year, but hasn't really earned it yet.

Carter isn’t making it this year. Last year was Jones, Donald, Lawrence, Williams, Allen, Heyward, Simmons,  Buckner and Wilkins. Carter isn’t getting put in front of any of those guys.

AJ Brown, Lane Johnson, and Hurts

Maybe Dickerson

They are kids in their 20s, mostly girls, who post about "gameday fits," dances and memes. Maybe, they'll post some football content.

Pretty sure he will be in front of Donald and Heyward had a horrible year.
