Praising a $250M QB on stats from practice. Nothing he does right now matters whether good or bad.

Hope he returns to MVP form this year and wins it.

Glad you added the bolded, because people overreact to a couple bad throws or practice interceptions early on just the same.

Sorry for posting football stuff on a football message board. Although, to be fair, if nothing matters right now, why are you here?

Funny because we all know the moment he has a bad practice you'll criticizing Hurts for it.

I think Washington can be a weird high variance team. I can see them going through your typical new coaching staff/QB struggles. I could also see them starting a bit hot and being better than expectations like the 2016 Eagles. Depends what Daniels can do.

The Broncos are going to push the Patriots for the worst record in the AFC. They are terrible.

Very true.  Some can’t wait to complain about practice INTs.  It certainly does go both ways..

While I’m not going to praise him for his performance today, I am encouraged by it.  There is a new OC after all, and there were reports of some struggles in the earlier OTAs.

Thats where I’m at with the commanders. If Daniels lives up to expectations as a rookie they should be good. Not sure j trust the commanders OL but they have weapons. I also really don’t love their corner situation

None of their off-season moves were all that special, IMO. Lots of old men and JAGs with a few solid players in there. I think their OL will be improved. I'm not sold on their DL at all. Their LBs should be better and their secondary is largely still kinda meh.

If Daniels pans out I can see them winning 6 games, give or take.

Yep. I'd add that Fangio is a zone guy. We all saw that Bradberry can't cover a receiver with speed but in a zone scheme and especially as a split safety he still has enough speed and experience to fit there. Right now we're thin at safety with Brown and DeJean down so it makes sense from that angle as well. Work him there, build up his value both to us and to other teams and see what comes of it. There's no hurry.

Frankly, given his size and speed, there has been speculation about Bradberry at S most of his career. He played well enough to play CB so he stayed there.  I would be concerned about a Bradberry and Blankenship pairing but as a third or fourth S, I think he has a shot (and I expect some Fangio nickel and dime looks to utilize a third S or a S/Nickel hybrid).   If Brown goes into the season on PUP, I could see Bradberry as a in season trade.

Hate a pairing of Slay and Rodgers. Too small at outside corner where Fangio expects CB run support.  Interesting having Ricks outside with Mitchell in the slot on second team with Ringo, but I expect a revolving door.  Guess Mitchell needs some slot experience but I prefer his size outside.   I suspect if DeJean hadn’t pulled his hammy that the second string would be Ringo and Mitchell outside (with a target for one passing Rodgers) and Ricks on third string with Jobe and Hall.  I am curious about Stephens.

Mehki Becton thanks the high heavens.

Rodgers put up a ton of tackles in Indy. He has 90 tackles in around 1,000 career snaps, which is pretty good for a corner.

True but how does he hold up against a Barkley with no hip drop.  The new rule on hip drop tackles is going to impact DBs and smaller LBs. The AJ Browns, TEs and bigger backs are going to benefit from the rule.

First day of training camp and PE.com has 1 post with 30 seconds of camp clips and another post which is an 8 minute video of players taking a lie detector. Do they think that's the content Eagles fans want? Give me 8 minutes if practice coverage and no lie detector.  I hate my Steelers friends. They have a live Steelers radio show for 10 hours a day, every day at camp. Multiple days of an all-access Training Camp Live type of show and not to mention free practice every day for fans.

Well, you can always count on me to consistently say he sucks 😇

You got a tweet today that detailed the amount of heaves Mekhi Becton had when he puked at practice.  What more could you ask for?

Washington could be a wildcard team this year.

Depends on your take on Daniels. I'm not big on him.

That's gonna all be about Daniels.  A good Daniels + their already pretty decent WRs could put some points on the board.

Question will be whether anyone in DC cares.  There's a _lot_ of Eagles fans down here.  I can't remember the last time I saw someone in a Commanders shirt.

Cards will be pretty decent  I think.

Washington is going to be better than people think.  I think they're going to wind up ahead of Dallas in the standings.

Raiders and Patriots won't be good, but not cellar dwellers...they don't have established QB's yet but there's enough on the rest of the roster.

Broncos/Panthers/Giants are going to be in a dead heat for #1 overall.

I actually kind of like the Titans to be in the wild-card mix.  Levis is better than people think and they've given him a legit offense with Ridley, Boyd, Pollard/Spears and Okonkwo.

Lol every year I say I miss Eagles Live but even if they did it again they wouldn't show nearly enough because they like to be secretive now

Rough for Evan Neal

Maybe Evan Neal is a player Howie can look at for a position somewhat like Becton.   Top 1st pick,  huge,  not exactly panning out,  coach him up Stout.  Assuming cheap.
