You got a tweet today that detailed the amount of heaves Mekhi Becton had when he puked at practice.  What more could you ask for?

I doubt the Steelers give this kind of coverage

First day of training camp and PE.com has 1 post with 30 seconds of camp clips and another post which is an 8 minute video of players taking a lie detector. Do they think that's the content Eagles fans want? Give me 8 minutes if practice coverage and no lie detector.  I hate my Steelers friends. They have a live Steelers radio show for 10 hours a day, every day at camp. Multiple days of an all-access Training Camp Live type of show and not to mention free practice every day for fans.

Last year it was Landon and others walking in saying "Good morning" to the media team over and over again. They post their game day outfits, dances and stuff. Their social media team are a bunch of kids in their early 20s, mostly girls. Spads has some content sometimes that are fluff interviews. Then there are some rare play breakdowns and things. But they don't post enough football, the post funny pictures of the players with things like "current mood" instead of actual footbal.

They're using Barkley a lot in the passing game and a lot of short and intermediate throws.

Guess Moore watched last year's games. 🤣

Big plays should be the icing on the cake, first bake the cake.

Praising a $250M QB on stats from practice. Nothing he does right now matters whether good or bad.

Hope he returns to MVP form this year and wins it.

I think a bad camp is a really bad sign for a QB.

I think a good camp for a QB doesn't mean much.

Lol every year I say I miss Eagles Live but even if they did it again they wouldn't show nearly enough because they like to be secretive now

The way they think their secretism is some sort of advantage silly IMO. Look at the Chiefs out there with open practice. Sure has an impact on their success!

He played himself out of the position. Ponderous. He ran a 5.37 40 at 337 lbs. By way of comparison, Mekhi Becton ran a 5.11 at 364 lbs.

Neal's numbers were ok.  Becton's numbers were great.

Sorry for posting football stuff on a football message board. Although, to be fair, if nothing matters right now, why are you here?

Hurts isn't anybody.   We know what we got with Hurts,  not as much with younger players.

Wasn't talking about you. I should've specified that ESP keeping track of stats is silly in TC. I guess since we don't get to see anything but tweets these days it's better than nothing.

Ed Kracz, who styles his OTA and TC posts as overreactions, had a couple of interesting tidbits:

Rookie third-round pick Jalyx Hunt may have more of a role than some might think.

The linebacker/edge rusher got some reps with the first-team defense and stood out when he pushed Jordan Mailata backward, using a violent hand chop and stiff arm, to push Mailata backward. He did something similar to backup left tackle Fred Johnson.

And there was one play when left unblocked, Hunt ran straight into the backfield that would have been a sack if they were allowed in practice.

Hunt is the kind of player defensive coordinator Vic Fangio loves, having the ability to rush and cover. We haven’t seen Hunt covering receivers much yet, but he showed that ability in college and he began his career as a safety.

And:

Parris Campbell looked like the frontrunner for the No. 3 receiver job, though it was interesting to see tight end Grant Calcaterra get some work outside the formation and in the slot. It’s too soon to say the Eagles third receiver will be Calcaterra, but versatility is important.

Calcaterra as a receiver may be an outside-the-box thought and a longshot, but it’s also early.

(Maybe @austinfan is right about his HBack perspective.)

I think it's a real positive sign that he was using Barkley, Campbell and Calcaterra in the pass game. Giving three guys 70 percent of the targets, like we have done the past two years, makes our passing game predictable and fails to take advantage of potential mismatches.

Obviously it's one practice, but at least it shows that the offense is possibly evolving.

Kempski was on Sheil Kapadia's podcast talking about QB performance in camp.  He did think a poor performance would be concerning.  His take was that QB's in the past have looked bad the season has gone poorly.  His example was Wentz in 2020.  I am not sure if he could have pulled out more examples but I do think Hurts having a good camp is probably important.  It doesn't mean he will have a great season but I think a poor camp where he isn't getting the ball out and is throwing poorly is a bad sign for the team.

You have to go outside of the team employees to get informative content. It’s out there on Twitter/X with some of the beat reporters.

I do that. I'm just commenting on the Eagles official social media team.

Washington is going to be better than people think.  I think they're going to wind up ahead of Dallas in the standings.

Raiders and Patriots won't be good, but not cellar dwellers...they don't have established QB's yet but there's enough on the rest of the roster.

Broncos/Panthers/Giants are going to be in a dead heat for #1 overall.

I actually kind of like the Titans to be in the wild-card mix.  Levis is better than people think and they've given him a legit offense with Ridley, Boyd, Pollard/Spears and Okonkwo.

Agree with you about Washington. Had a fine draft. And their DL is pretty good. Great DTs.

And best of all for them, Dan Snyder is out. Harris may not be the greatest owner but he’s night and day better than Snyder.

Even doing that, it just sucks. I follow the Eagles News group and it's just repetitive tweets of Becton threw up.

The fact of the matter is we shouldn't have to go outside of the Eagles organization to search for news about camp.

The Chiefs are the Super Bowl champs. Chiefs.com has daily 5 observations from camp. 100+ photo galleries from every practice, player interviews, press conferences.

Go to Philadelphiaeagles.com. The first two stories are Eagles players doing lie detector tests and who chooses the music to play during practice. There's literally no indication that there was training camp today. Scroll all the way to the bottom and they have the post practice press conferences to view. It's an absolute garbage website and there's no excuse for it. To make it worse, their previously mentioned social media team is most likely run by 20 something girls who have no idea what true diehard Eagles fans care about.

I've also mentioned numerous times how much I love the aesthetics of the game of football and the Eagles are going to look different this year. It looks like the majority of the team is wearing the Riddell Axiom (a terribly ugly helmet IMO). Can't notice things like this if we don't get content.

Here's another quick clip. Hey football content!

What about the lie detector?  Kind of odd.  They can't trust the players on something?

Snyder being out is the main thing for that organization.  I was hoping that he would forever own that team, and Jerry Jones never dies.

Always nice to laugh at NY, but he had a defender in his face and needed to float it over his head.   That was a systemic failure, not just Jones.   Let's not lose sight of the fact that it is Day 1 and players need to get used to working together again.

That's a nothing burger.

Appreciate the rational explanation but it’s the Giants so

Why does the music playing in the background make it funnier? 😂
