Well, the guy is one of the funniest people in the planet right now.  So I guess she likes his personality (and money).

Being funny, in the public light, and a multi-millionaire gets you hot chicks. More tonight at 6pm.

So what’s the story on Nolan Smith? Is he just an afterthought already? Looking like a major bust if he’s not even given a shot to start.

Obviously very early in camp, but Bo and Zach said so far the WR3's have been underwhelming and haven't really stood out at all.

I'm very skeptical of how good Devin White will be here and he's coming off a very meh season, but in terms of his physique the dude is a physical specimen. Just looks built to play LB.

A meh season would be a major upgrade over whatever the F we saw from our LBs last season. The bar is very, very, VERY low

Guaranteed to be wrong. But here's where I am at the beginning of camp:

Jags not improving after giving Trevor that mega deal is funny

You think Browns will continue to get 10+?

I agree that Jets and Rodgers have success

Packers finding yet another one has to really annoy the league lol

Herbert needs to request a trade

Texans are built pretty damn well

Once again AFC will be the dominate one

I read that Campbell had a nice day 1 but like you said still way too early. I would like to upgrade that 3rd spot even if it’s just a rental.

The Jags lost Ridley, and Lawrence got paid off his draft position, not his production. I think they take a step back while Indy gets better. 1-5 down the stretch as well. I also personally think Lawrence is a bust, but we shall see.

I think the Browns will be good -- that defense is legit, and they basically got zero from the QB position last year. Myles Garrett against Guyton will be a bloodbath week 1. If Watson can even be decent, they could be tough to beat.

The AFC is much stronger than the NFC.

EDIT: I predict every game and see how it shakes out, try not to rig it too much after that. I was surprised that I had Buffalo at 12 wins.

Rotation piece with Graham. Don't see him starting over Sweat or Huff. Who "starts" doesn't really mean much with the rotation. He'll get his snaps.

Saints are 100m$ over the cap next year. Thank Fing Christ for Howie Roseman. It would be really hard to be motivated every offseason if I were a fan of a team that like

How long have you been doing it? Are you apart of a pick'em league? I was in a paid one but then realized I don't know crap about the other teams anymore

I think it looks too extreme in either direction.  Only 8 teams with 8/9 wins, yet 21 teams with 11 wins or loses.

IF Hurts/Moore get Goedet and Barkley involved in the passing game this year, its much less important and Id be ok with a platoon. IF Hurts wont look at anyone but AJ or Smith this year again, then... its also hard to say its important still. I dont know...itd be nice to have a real threat there, but I think Im gonna be ok with Campbell/Ainias Smith/Ross/Wilson depending on matchups and such.

$53mil AAV.

Seems low given that Lawrence got $55mil.

I’d hope so. He’s a first round pick going into his second season. Right now he’s looking like a great athlete that’s an OK football player

Jags always have to overpay because they are a crap organization. Tua’s history with concussions also surely were factored in here too.

Who gives an F about the cap… well I guess you do.

I think fans get their panties in a bunch way too often over it.

It’s the game within the game

PFF had the LBs in the 60s.  Average, mediocre.

PFF had many CBs in the 40s.  The problem was the CBs.

White had a lower PFF last year than all Eagles LBs.

TJ Edwards, in 2022, was better than all the Eagles LBs last year.  Also was better in 2023.

Kyzir had a worse PFF last year than all the Eagles LBs last year.

VanSumeren, with a 69, had the highest PFF of the Eagles LBs.

White was highly drafted, something like 1/5, so one would assume that he would do well.  His PFF has never been great in the NFL though.

What’d I miss from the 9ers? Just the Williams holdout and Aiyuk trade request or was there more?

That, they lost some solid talent in the off-season and a new Purdy contract is looming. Here's hoping they pay that clown 60 million and gut the team even more

Dre Greenlaw had a 69.3 PFF grade last season and people have him in the top 10 off-ball LBs. A grade of 70 from PFF is actually a good grade. Elite players are usually in the 80s. I do think Greenlaw is a bit overrated right now by some. Cunningham had a 69.4 for us last season and Morrow had a 71.5. With Cunningham and Morrow, some of their better performances were earlier in the season. Their grades dropped in the final weeks. Kyzir White had a grade, I believe (somebody with a premium PFF would need to look this up), in the 70s or around 70 with us in 2022 and his grade dropped to 58.9 last season. I believe that when you have one of the top off ball LBs like Fred Warner, it gives a boost to a solid player like Greenlaw or Kyzir White (when he played with TJ Edwards).

All in all, our LB play last year wasn't as bad overall as people make it out to be. It was worse than 2022's LB play for us, though. When things go poorly everybody wants to point the finger. People complained that Morrow got beat by CeeDee Lamb, but does anybody really expect any LB to cover CeeDee Lamb? After losing Dean, we were forced to play Morrow out of position and forced to make him the green dot on defense. Considering all that happened, he played better than expected. Unfortunately he wasn't really a leader or anything and neither he nor Cunningham were much of a "playmaker" on defense. Devin White, so far, appears to be much more involved as a leader. He's also demonstrated playmaking ability at the NFL level in his career. While I'm still high on Dean, I can't convince anybody to give him a chance since he hasn't really shown much at the NFL level yet. Dean's recovery from last season's Lisfranc injury has opened the door for Baun to compete for that role. Until I see Baun play, I don't know what to expect.

I've mentioned in other threads that Trotter compares very similar to TJ Edwards entering the NFL. He needs to be ready and then when given an opportunity, make it hard to take him back off the field.

When do they start practicing in full pads?

That when we start separating the prospects from the suspects.

Video is New Beginnings for Cam Jergens and Saquan Barkley

A good bit of face time for Cam if you wanna get to know him a bit better

You would think that Covey with his skill set might an effective slot to rotate in as well.

Im not counting him out. I love his skillset for the motions in Moore's offense. Get him in space and its like hes returning a punt. I believe he can be a play maker.
