It's wild how fast RBs fall off. Just totally nuts. It's why I was and still am not fully on board with the Barkley signing and would've preferred they use that money at LB or another pass rusher.

Penny was a special case. He was hurt all the time and had serious, serious injuries. A shame.

Rodgers at first team CB today. Baun first team LB again. Mitchell first team NCB.

I met a security guard who works Titans games and used to be part of AJ Brown's personal security. I said you gotta give me an AJ Brown story or something, what's he like? Nothing major. He said he's a good person, good family man, he's very outspoken and will not be afraid to share his opinion. He said that Kevin Byard was also a very good person and high character and they miss having both of them around. Nothing revealing. I was hoping to get some crazy story

not right now. But what happens when DeJean is back and they want to get him on the field? Ringo or Rodgers better be lights out or I can see Mitchell moving outside to make room for DeJean in nickel.

Just seems like to me the plan they have for him long term is Slay replacement and in the short term Nickel CB. He hasn't taken any first team outside CB reps I'm aware of and from what I've heard when he does play outside CB it's second team on Slays side only. He's getting first team Nickel reps though and I haven't heard anything about Maddox doing anything.

They just put the pads on They're going to play the young CBs at different spots in the preseason, both to evaluate them and give them experience b/c injuries happen.

Bradberry and Maddox at S, I expect this is a Highlander contest, "there can be only one."

No, Deans just not doing anything again. He's gotten some reps on the 1st team but it's been mostly Baun and White.

Hurt his leg doing 1on1's. That's all they said so far.
