I’m not sure I do the "favorite Eagle” thing anymore but Smith will always be special to me because of the way the Giants fans went bonkers when we traded up to get him. There were some great clips of Giants fans losing their minds, including one dude who punched a hole in his basement wall and gave his wife/girlfriend a gentle shove after she justifiably was angry at what he had just done.

Losing Solak/Sheil, Around the NFL podcast and Tice/Mays is rough for my podcast listenership. 

They could take camp back to Lehigh and charge fans to go daily and still be standing room only. It's a travesty what the Eagles have done to fan engagement.

Meh. Probably more productive to have TC in the Linc where they have access to all facilities, film rooms, etc.

It's not like they need to drum up fan support.

The last time I went to the Linc for the open practice it was an unmitigated disaster. None of the employees knew what sections were open and where fans could actually sit. If you asked "Can we go to the upper deck?”, you’d get yes and no answers from different employees. You’d hike up there and they’d tell you it’s closed. Freaking nightmare.

Plus, the practice was crap too. Absolutely not worth it.

After reading this, I searched for Giants fans reactions to that pick. Lot of good clips out there. I’m enjoying them.

They can have anything they want at Lehigh. It's not about drumming up fan support, it's about giving back to the fans and letting them have access to the team. There are so many fans who can't afford to go to games, can't get tickets to games, don't want to deal with the hassle of gameday and some of the Philly fans who can ruin an experience. Going to TC at Lehigh was their chance to see their team in person. Get pictures with players. Get autographs without paying a fee at a local mall. Talk to other fans. The experience of Lehigh was second to none.

Might even go 90 mins!

"Shouldn’t miss much time” could mean days or we don’t see him again until week 1

Looks like Hennessy is odd man out as of now or at the very least one of the final cuts. I think they can bring him back after week 1 as a non-guaranteed veteran?
