I've never been to a game in a dome and don't have a desire to. Outdoors makes it special.

I am looking forward to going to the Rams game this year in November. Sofi is an amazing stadium. It doesn't feel like a dome.

I am also looking forward to flying in for the Eagle Dallas game at the Linc in December. Weather should be a factor.

Am I the only one who thinks football atmospheres on TV just feel way better outdoors than in domes. There have been some amazing games in domes, but something about them, it loses a little bit of the luster for me when I watch a game in a dome. Something about outdoor games just captures an element of the game that domes can't for me. The way it looks on TV, the elements, the breath in the air during cold months, something about the sound of the crowds cheering just feels less artificial.

A great football game will always be fun, but I have to say when I see a great matchup and see it's in an outdoor stadium it just brings extra juice to me. Maybe it's just the old school in me.

But I know people who love dome games and they have no risk of weather playing a factor.

I'm the opposite.  I know old school fans prefer the outdoors, playing in the elements and all that.  That's fine.

Dome games to me have a bigger feel to them.  I always enjoy when we go play at Atlanta or Detroit or Dallas or New Orleans.

Decembers in PA have been very mild the last few years we had a cold ass Christmas last year that's about it.

Nothing really beats seeing rowdy fans sitting in below freezing temps screaming and seeing the condensation coming out of everyones mouths. Outdoor>>>indoor all the way.

Domes are for wimps.

We'll see. This narrative ends the second Reddick either ends his holdout and reports to camp or reaches a new deal with the Jets.

But the Eagles chose to let a top end pass rusher go because they didn't want to pay him, chose to pay Huff instead, and that decision will be predicated on how each player does this season.

Agreed, play and production will be the final score.  Eagles obviously prioritized Dickerson, Smith and AJ extension over Reddick.

Hadn't thought of it that way but if true, and it's likely, I have to like it.

Aiyuk trade might be going down to Pittsburgh.

It's 100% better to watch outdoor games. I hate seeing when National Championships are in the domes, especially Atlanta where the lighting is garbage. I'm also incredibly old school and want everyone to play on natural grass fields and scratch my head about cancelling last nights game.

Since you like to parade around center city in your buttless chaps, no wonder it’s a cold ass Christmas!

Imagine if this never happened because there was a dome. The elements are one of the greatest things about football. It can neutralize both teams and make it anyone's game. They are fun to watch and a blast to play in.

Football is a game designed to be played in ALL WEATHER, removing weather from the game isn't really the same thing.   Might as well shrink the field to 55 yards long, put up nets along the back of the end zone, and pads on the sidelines... and call it Arena Football.   Real football is to be played in the elements, because the elements are the great equalizer.  Build a team that is capable of playing in all conditions, not just ideal conditions.  Build a team with the grit and determination to find a way, even in the midst of adversity.  That's football.  This isn't an arena sport... and that includes the cold weather franchises.   Minnesota playing in a dome has gotten to how many Super Bowls?   Yet, the team of the 70s went to 4.  I don't think that's a coincidence.  Outdoor teams are just tougher than dome teams.

Generally I hate to see anyone get injured... but this is pretty funny.

I couldn’t agree more.  Weather elements always have to be part of the game, or the game will just not be the same.  There are two reasons why I believe the Miami Dolphins made of a mistake in giving Tua that contract.  One is obviously his concussion history, but the other is the fact that he just can’t seem to play anywhere near the same level in colder weather.  And given the division he is in, it makes no sense to me to pay him that type of money.

Without the weather elements, there are no storylines like that in the league… Those storylines are part of it.

Smart move by the 49ers.  Let him see that QB (room? corp?) up close and make him rethink that trade request.

Dude pitching for the Phillies right now is Fing terrible

Patrick Mahomes is #4 while Tyreek Hill is #1 while Patrick Mahomes has won a Super Bowl every year he hasn’t had Tyreek Hill. Makes sense.

Nakobe Dean just isn't moving the needle for me. I'm ready to move on. When you hear reports of BVS being heads and shoulders the best special teams player, I'd rather keep him on the team and give him reps on D as well, let Trotter develop and find someone else.

I think at this point,  BVS is in over Oren Burks.  I don't think Dean is going anywhere.   6 seems like a lot of LBs,  but they all should be doing special teams, or they all could be.

Was looking at those combine run and jumps,  and the versatility.  The Eagles, for the most part have some big and fast jumpers who did a bunch in high school,  and in Vansumerens case,  Fullback for the Michigan Wolverines.  Didn't play much, behind Ben Mason who is with the Chargers right now.  The LB group has a lot of run, catch, block, throw guys.  So,  you have those players who are fast strong jumpers, 6 of them,  and they're not going to get a lot of snaps on defense, but I'd be interested in more of a platoon system than typical there.  They all could have snaps on offense.
