The Hennessy thing is weird. There have been opportunities across the board for him to get starter and 2nd team reps and he isn't.

Sounds like McKee is getting work with the second team and has been playing better than Pickett. It would be nice if they were able to flip Pickett off to someone else

I was thinking that too, or maybe they can flip McKee. One or the other. Both are under contract for 2 more years? 

I was on fence about Milton Williams not knowing what to do with him, but it might be time to lock him up for 3 years before Carter wants a MEGA deal. Get the most out of him as you can with Carter and Davis on their rookie deals.

Pickett is under contract this year and next (not including a 5th year option which we won’t get)

McKee is under contract for 3 more years.

Actually, I find the fact that Toth and Keegan are performing at G well enough to keep Scharping down the depth chart is a good thing and we even saw Kinnard at G some too.  I have seen Scharping and Gates play and really hope they are camp depth. Toth had some good showing here in TC the last couple of years. Can play all 5 OL positions.  He is nice to have on the PS and may just rise to the inactive OL status if they keep 10.  

Not disappointed that McMahon has seen second team reps.  Still think Hennessy makes the roster as the back up C but not if McMahon is good enough to go with.  He is a pretty gifted athlete.  The bench competition is good.  Sure looks like Keegan is a lock (and possibly a steal on day 3).  

 

For the rookies seems like Mitchell, Wilson, Shipley have looked the best with Trotter Jr trailing a bit. I expect DeJean will be in there when he returns.

Mitchell has an attitude to him that this defense needs. Same with CJGJ.

Maybe Hennessy stinks as well and he isn’t even a typical backup level interior lineman as I suspected. 

I feel like we’re two weeks away from Nick Gates being our top backup C and OG4. 

I find it a little odd that Keegan hasn’t got much if any snaps on the right side. How much value does a LG-only player have?

Out of all 4 QB’s there’s been only 1 interception all camp and that was on a desperation Pickett throw to end practice. It’s better no one is throwing interceptions than everyone but that points to scheme more than individual.
