RG has a chance to be a real mess tbh. Pretty concerned about it.

A real mess?  Or just not very good?

We had a real mess at LG in 2017.  Ended up with a street free agent named Wiz take over after a few games into the season.  Won the Super Bowl a few months later.

We just need to avoid RG becoming a fatal vulnerability in pass protection.

Non Football related, but I'm gonna post this here anyway (along with having posted it in WU). With regard to my mother's stage 4 lung cancer: A week or so ago, we went in for another CT sca

I read that the Browns would send them Cooper and NE would send them Bourne so I’d rather him go to NE in that case

If it's Aiyuk's decision I can't imagine he'd want to go to NE.

At least in Cleveland Stephanski will know how to use him and have a chance to make the playoffs.

We need to roll a nice chunk to 2025 - we have very little cap space next year with Kelce and Cox final dead cap hits on the books.

Add in some BG, Sweat, and Bradberry money as well.

Agreed… if the Eagles are serious about becoming a real power again w/ running the football… Then I think the RG position is in good hands with either Steen or Becton, particularly Becton.  And if that happens, they should have an easier time with pass protection.  Get the running game right, the rest will follow.

CJGJ is prone to dings and such, go get Justin Simmons for depth. If he's willing to accept a role of having to compete for a job of course.

Seriously, it's a common theme with him. I don't think Simmons is an option, word out of Denver was that there's no love lost between them and neither would be dying to pair up again. I'd take that Caden Sterns at least.

Today must be a boring practice. Literally nothing is getting out on Twitter

That sucks for him.  Sounds like he was doing enough to at least get considered here or somewhere else 🙁

High praise

Lot of pressure ro out on him for going into tomorrow's practice.

Cox the only one in that group that won't make the HoF.  Although Khalil Mack is a bit borderline for me.

So hurts only threw 13 passes yesterday and only 12 today.  No wonder he's having a good camp throwing the ball.  Sounds like he's been insulated from danger.  Probably lots of run plays and easy passes. The way an offense should be run with him at QB.

Odd that Pickett can't do the same. Must be he is struggling to process. Maybe they can dumb down the offense for the backups to help him.

Uh. It's TC. Some days they practice runs and screens. Some days they throw downfield.

Nothing to do with "sheltering Hurts." Just installing a complete offense.

Yeah.  Learning a new offense.  Working with other backups.  And probably going against the 1s. Easy to see why it'd be much harder for him.

It's just not very many attempts at all.

Slowly but surely the Beats are decreasing tweets and driving folks to their own sites.  They get the ad revenue, not surrender content to X.

Insulating from tired arm.   Third week is when we start to see that.

Who else just wants him to throw a pick on his next throw?  Imagine how many times this stupid stat is referenced if he throws two picks in the first half in Brazil.

Are the throws that count only the ones where they do 11 vs 11?  Because if they practice for a long time and then do 11 vs 11 I'm not sure we want them doing more than that.  Guessing they're mixing in 10-12 runs as well.  So 24 plays for O and D after a long practice seems about right... I could totally be making all of this up but sounds semi-logical

Fangio basically calling last year’s defense a bunch of soft p*ssies was interesting to hear. That might explain some of his love for Baun over a shrimp like Dean.

Baun weighs less than Dean - he's taller though.
