I think this could be one of those years where the O-line is an issue all year with guys rotating in and out and never having a set 5 with a different combination almost every week. Putting the RG issue aside, Lane is still elite but 34 and hasn't played a full season since 2015. He's also played a lot of games dealing with some type of injury. Jurgens health is also a question mark as he got beat up a lot last year. Maybe it was just one bad year but it's going to be hard to put blind trust that he'll be able to have an ironman career like Kelce. Dickerson gets nicked up more than any player I can remember while avoiding major injuries. It feels like almost every game last year he would have to come out for a few plays. I'm not necessarily worried about his health but if he were to miss a stretch of games I wouldn't be surprised. Mailata might be the most dependable guy on the line at the moment.

Also have to take into account the depth. This is the first time in a long time it feels like they are not very deep at all along the O-line. They do have some versatile pieces and could kick Becton back out to T if needed but then you are likely changing two positions. I think they are going to need the two Day 3 guys ready to go in a pinch.

I think the argument for keeping 10 OL is this issue.  There are question marks at 2 big positions.  While Jurgens has shown that he's talented, he hasn't even started a full regular season game at center.  You're right durability is the question.  Injuries are always a concern. I do like the depth better this season than last.  The back ups were Steen, Opeta, F. Johnson and Driscoll last season.  While Steen and FJ are still here, I like the addition of Keegan and McMahon over Driscoll and Opeta.  I think they keep one more and hope it's Hennesy.

Lane and Jordan interviewed by Chris Long.

Some Huff stuff in the beginning for those wondering about him.

Tuipulotu is the current DT5 but he's going to get pushed once the games start. One of the Eagles beats has been raving about Thomas Booker. Gabe Hall is a specimen and I think he's going to flash in games.

I am excited to see how they do in the game.  The Ravens will be running the ball.  It should give us a sense of how they can anchor.

Nick Foles led us to football’s promise land. Never again will we have to hear about empty trophy cases. We owe you Nick, big time!

That was a rough read, but pretty close to what many of us thought in real time.

Yup, nothing in there that we weren't talking about all season

Nice dunk by Embiid but man thought he was going to die on that landing

Bo Wulf's 2024 camp crush was Lew Nichols. Said he showed a lot of wiggle between the tackles and gives the Eagles an element they don't have at RB. Thinks he probably won't make the team but really impressed him in camp. EJ Jenkins came in second. Thomas Booker third.

This list is very depressing. Bunch of practice squadders.

Embiid was huge in an epic comeback win for Team USA.

Apparently this guy is legit and has broke some other Saints stuff like Derek Carr

Maybe we can step in as a 3rd team to send Pickett over to the 49ers to help get this deal done.

49ers playing hard ball.  Don’t like them at all but, I respect that.  Give me Pickens and a pick, or Fautanu

You'll be surprised to know that Reagor got his hands on it, but did not catch it.

No one is trading the guy they just drafted #20 overall for an overrated, overpriced WR2

Not if you don't ask for him.

There are a lot of teams out there that would view Aiyuk as a #1 WR, let’s not kid ourselves.  I don’t think he belongs in the top 5 of pay… But he’s in there at that 5 to 8 range.  If he’s asking for 30+, it’s too much. If he’s asking for 27 to 28, he should be.

That said, I completely agree with you that no one is going to trade their top drafted offensive tackle for him… I just said I respected that they’re playing hardball

Huh, so if the kickoff doesn't make it past the 20 it's a penalty and the offense starts at the 40.

Things going well in Dallas.  Parsons has also retreated Lamb's response.
