Eagles can cut Bradberry at any point, they haven't used a single post June 1st designation, so they still have 2. But there really isn't a point. He's been paid his money and his cap number doesn't have any advantage to release him. He doesn't seem like a bad locker room guy and he doesn't seem like he wants to be somewhere else, so he'll enter camp and compete. We'll see if anyone offers anything for him, but it's doubtful. When the cuts start, that's probably the time to watch.

There's no financial reason to release him before roster cutdowns. If after OTAs or the beginning for camp the team is certain it is moving on, I'd bet they release him with enough time to try and catch on elsewhere. The organization has generally done things that way for vets, and I think it helps the overall perception among players.

This looks so much like the Phillies city connect uniform.  Both of which are absolutely abhorrent.

Is Dark blue, light blue, and black required colors on the city connect?   Maybe they just started with the Phillies city connect, removed the yellow and the dumb looking lighting letters, added 'MOTOR CITY' and then rolled?

I really like Tampa Bay's city connect uniform.  That's fire.

They all look terrible.  ALL of them.  Even the ones that look good, look terrible, because they have nothing to actually do with their city.   It's a money grab and they put very little effort or thought into them... which is why so many of them have the exact same color palette.   No creativity, no real connection to their respective cities and just garbage effort for a massive money grab.   Sadly, there are so many mindless consumers who will just buy these jerseys because they are new, without even thinking about whether or not they are actually 'good'.

I thought it was pretty funny. Jalen looks more like a happy dad than a creep.

Yep. I think they are just really hoping he looks much better this year and thrives under Fangio. It temporarily blocks Mitchell a bit but I really think they would be fine if he didn't have to start right away.

Covey is in the back just rating everyones asses in his head. He even had the subtle lean to the right to get Barkley's entire rear in view.

My recollection is that Ricks didn't play well during the season.  I think Ringo looked OK in the pre-season and I agree with you on the rest of your points.  Ideally Ringo progresses so the team moves on from Slay after next season.

I tend to give a lot of leeway to rookie corners for the reasons outlined about contact rules.

Ringo, yeah, he gets a complete pass from me. Ricks has to show more now just because the competition is so high, but I’d like to keep him. I think he could turn into a good backup eventually.

Yup — goodwill goes a long way when you come to the table with an offer. It probably won’t make or break a deal, but when you combine that with the overall stability of an organization, it can be a tie breaker.

I watched the first 12 minutes or so from that Morey PC.  That guy certainly does not inspire confidence; it seems like if they took a fan out of the stands for a PC with the media they might get better answers.

The Sloan analytics guy who ball washed James Harden has always been a fraud

Nike has turned in to the worst thing for sports. I thought the Phillies were bad (and they are). But these are just next level putrid. I hate City Connect so much.

I actually like then Philly ones.  Hard to decide what number/player to get.  Not much to choose from here in Northern California.  My dad's real estate company was Wheeler-Williams, so in the absence of a #93 on the Phillies, I'm inclined to go with Wheeler, but can't seem to find anything other than Harper and Turner ones.

Not sure if this guy is McMillan and that's really going back. This kid could be thrown into the mix for the slot role but can't see him at outside corner. Bradberry will be traded or cut this summer most likely

Come on, Matt.... the least you could have done was find a pic of him as an Eagle.

Me neither... what I am saying is, I don't care.   Just get rid of Bradberry... before the start of the season.

I agree. College rules allow contact until the ball is in the air. College DBs are grabby because the rules allow it. None of that 5-yard rule the NFL uses. It’s quite an adjustment for them.
DeJean played a lot of off coverage so it may not be as much of an adjustment for him as for Mitchell.

Neither Mitchell nor DeSean seem overly grabby.  Mitchell played a lot of off coverage in a zone heavy D.  But both have that slant habit so prevalent in college instead of hip flip.  So hard to scout DBs with no coaches film.

Why are we showing Darrell Green?

Ah... in that case, you don't remember Mark McMillan.    Instead, you posted a photo of Darrell Green.

Two of the more underrated CB in Eagles history are Mark McMillian and Otis Smith. In a time when the Eagles couldn't find consistent play, Otis Smith just went out and was a steady CB for over a decade. He's a guy that they should have held on to. At the same time, both of those guys leaving opened the door for the Eagles to draft Bobby Taylor and sign Troy Vincent.

I think that's 10 players total. Is it: Kelce, Cox, Penny, Leonard, Roby, Julio Jones, Noah Togiai, Christian Elliss and Justin Evans?
