Our draft class is looking good so far.

Mitchell: As advertised. Starting CB.
DeJean: No idea
Hunt: Above expectations
Shipley: Good. Worst case is backup RB in 2025.
Smith: Awful
Trotter: Good. Feels like he'll play this year and likely start in 2025.
Keenan: Good. If he can figure out RG, our backup spot is set for 3 years.
Wilson: Good, WR3 or WR4 at worst.
McMahon: TBD, but fine for a late 6.

Ainias Smith is the outlier. If Cooper comes back and shows anything, we're in good shape.

Vikings announcers talking about how they have no depth at CB. Not sure if there is a trade there for a WR.

I dont think they have any WRs.

I am in zero rush to trade a corner

I think you are underselling him.

They have at least 1.

Don't need to be in a rush to trade one, but if the opportunity is there for a CB needy team, they need to jump on it.

And 1 who should be getting suspended, or you'd think at least.

well yeah. I mean to trade. They have 1. We have 2. And neither team has any depth.

Disagree

a young corner is far more valuable than a slot rental

Not all of em are gonna make the team, so might as well.

Mitchell, Ringo and DeJean are the future of this team at CB. One too many in Rodgers. He's a CB2 in the NFL. You would think if a contending team is desperate enough, he could bring back more than a rental.

Aside from them, you can easily part with someone like Jobe or Ricks, or Maddox.

Smith is such a disappointment.  He was the "late” pick I had unreasonable expectations for this year

It's just really intriguing to try to figure out. Mitchell is showing out in the slot. I'd much rather have Mitchell on the field instead of Maddox. The thing with Maddox is he's been getting some run at safety too.

It's also important to remember Rodgers isn't signed past this year. He was pulled early last night and a lot are speculating that it's because he's the starter. I'm almost thinking they know what they have in him and don't want to risk him to an injury with the hopes of trading him.

They are so deep I forget Hall is on the team. Howie needs to move some

Nah.  They've got trash behind Jefferson and Addison.

Someone like the Rams could at least toss us Tutu Atwell.  Would gladly take Wicks from the Packers.  I'd even go to the Chiefs for Moore or Watson.

All it takes is an injury

Lets pump the brakes on Ringo

I must be getting senile. It sure looked to me that Toth was playing center, not tackle.

Nope. Saw that too. Steen, Johnson, Kinnard, Toth, McMahon?

Toth is a late bloomer coming out of Army, I think.

Loved to see the entire US Men's basketball team troll the French when Joel got his medal. 🤣

Has anyone else had the impression that the size of the lettering of the names on the back of the uniforms are bigger this year? And not only on the Eagles, but throughout the league? It kinda looks like when you're fiddling around on a Word Document and you decided to increase the point size from 11 to 12.
