Maybe but then they will have to sign Trey since his contract is up the same time as Daks

The will sign him for $8 million a season and Jerry will say that they can't afford to pay 2 QBs.

Kenny Pickett is basically an athletic freakbeast of a QB.  He's what I call a tooolsy player.  I mean wha't more important for a QB than his broad jump and his 20 yard split? That's eilte level.

Buy or sell? James Bradberry is actually doing well at safety right now.

I prefer Johnny 5

From the sounds of it, he is. From a practical standpoint, can they afford to keep a safety on the roster who offers nothing on ST or future value? Is Tristin McCollum a better option? He's a core ST player and has improved steadily during his time here. He's not starting material, but he's quality depth and ST starter that winning teams need.

My biggest question is whether or not Jordan Davis is living up to any hype and if he should be moved. You hear about Carter, Williams, Ojomo, Tuipulotu...even Booker and Mustipher are getting some mentions lately. I know he's the NT and Tuipulotu is the backup, but could they have enough of a rotation where Davis could be expendable? I just don't hear enough good things about him. He's serviceable but nothing special considering his size and athleticism. Would you swap Jordan Davis for a WR3 and a draft pick? Is there anyone worth trading him for?

Depends what we’d get back for him in trade

This living up to hype or should be moved set of options is idiocy. Is he a good player, in which case we keep him r a bad player in which case we don’t? Judgment based on four snaps and bad reporting from TC  is just, I’ll say again, idiocy. Don’t get sucketed in to what the beats babble.

Why isn't McCollum starting material? He has bulked up, he has above average speed and CB movement skills.

Big question is whether he has the instincts for the position, but no reason not to be patient while he learns since he's a top ST contributor.

If you hear about the NT in a 3-4, it's generally not a good thing.

My guess is that Davis will get this season at least. If he's doing what he's been asked to do to get better (it sounds like he has) I don't think Howie will be too quick to give up on him.

I think he's capable to be a spot starter, but as a long-term solution I don't think he's it. Rotational player, use him in favorable matchups etc. Marcus Epps is my hidden gem safety measuring stick and I don't think McCollum has that in him. Maybe more of a Rashard Cook kind of guy?

Judon would’ve been a nice add. Oh well. Only went for a 3rd.

I wonder if that takes Falcons out of Justin Simmons sweepstakes. If they landed him as well they have a pretty solid team.

Judon is 32, coming off a torn biceps and wants a new contract. Getting a 3 for him is great business for NE.

That whole dumb NFC South wants to be 9-8 so bad

Unfortunately, then DCs looked at film and the next season . . .

The next season the Broncos had signed Peyton Manning son they moved on from Tebow.

We play Atlanta in week 2. Judon isn't a straight EDGE, so it may take Atlanta more time to get used to him.

Isn't he potentially facing a suspension though? That would scary me off in a FF league.

Not as a late round pick. I'll take him depending on how severe his injury is

3rd is too much to give up for a guy who's 32 looking for a new deal.  Great deal for NE

Sell. Feel like they're trying to get someone to trade for him. Hyping him up a bit

A year ago, I questioned whether anyone here would trade Jordan Davis for a second round pick and was met with a loud, virtually unanimous "NO!" with an implied "Are you crazy?" attached. I wasn't sure that I would either at that time, but I was already a bit skeptical that he was worth the pick the Eagles invested and considered it a reasonable suggestion.

At this point I think I'd just ride it out with him and hope for the best. I believe he's always going to show flashes that make you go "WOW!" The key is going to be how often they'll be able to get those flashes from him.

I really liked dexter Lawrence when drafted, he was pretty average his first couple of years then the light turned on and hes been a force.

Hopefully Davis can follow a similar path and live up to where he was drafted.
