I'm right, again,  and "I know you are but what am I?"

This message board, or any football message boards,  really are not places designed for the people on the board to be bickering with each other and attacking each other.   Attack other people,  attack the Eagles FO, coaches and players,  crap chat and talk about other sports.  Not what these things should be.

Wrong. You're always wrong. RAS score that

Didn't they lose quite a bit on the oline in FA? Not surprised they addressed that in a big way though the draft

When I was a baby claim adjuster, one of our more experienced claim handlers had an auto accident in a company car.  Other driver was at fault.  I was assigned the claim.  My colleague broke a bone in his right wrist in the accident.   He was negotiating his injury settlement with the other carrier.  He presented to the claim adjuster for the at fault driver that as a claim adjuster, you document everything.  Back then we used written notes.  My colleague was right handed, had to requisition a typewriter and one hand type for six weeks.  (He was presenting evidence of his "pain and suffering”, how the injury impacted him.  The other claim handler countered that he lost no wage from that (economic loss).  My colleague then countered that he had to change the hand he wiped his butt with as another example of impact.  (I had to stifle my laugh.  But that night when I needed to wipe my butt, I did so with the other hand.). Your comment made me think of that. Great metaphor.  Changing hands is a fraction of changing line sides but is a great everyday event anyone can experience to better understand such a switch.

Was is Lane that said that line?

How about bringing in this recently cut WR?  cut on August 13 by the Cardinals.
Jeff Smith.

High School QB.  Started games for the Boston College Eagles, and ran for a lot of yards.  Passing was not good.  Switched to WR for BC.  Hasn't been particularly good in the NFL.  Which is probably part of the reason why he was cut.   But.  1) fast - pro day 4.34.  2) pretty tall 6'1 3) again,  QB for the BC Eagles, started against Notre Dame,  5 carries for 100 yards.  5 of 6 passing with a passer rating of 171 in that game.

After switching to WR, he continued to throw passes, and ran fairly often.  After freshman year, 7 completions,  11 passes, 4 TDs.  Threw a TD and ran for a TD in one game,  had a catch carry and TD pass in another.  Versatile ex college QB with a 4.34 40.

I broke my right elbow when I was in college. I’m right handed. I was in a cast for three weeks and in a sling for about a month after that. I can absolutely sympathize with anyone who had to do things of that nature with their "other” hand. Even brushing your teeth ends up feeling awkward. Good luck driving a car. Good luck trying to carry a tray in the dining hall. Try taking notes during class or doing homework.

Mekhi now has leg injury so Toth will start at RG Sat.  RG may be our biggest concern to start the season.

Yea, they do. It's a good thing JJ has no idea how to handle extensions because they know how to draft. Let's hope the CeeDee Lamb saga extends to the regular season.

Three weeks from the opener. Team seems to bubble wrap smaller injuries in TC these days, especially for roster locks. I imagine we ware looking at injuries with Steen and Becton that they would play through in the regular season.   Would the Eagles prefer they were healthy and taking reps?  Sure, but they would rather be cautious.   Toth sure is handy at TC. Believe this is the third position he has played. Second for Fred Johnson.  I wouldn’t be surprised at all that once TC ends and practices are closed if during developmental periods the back up OL see reps at different spots. Johnson at both T positions.  Steen or Becton at T as well as G.  RG for Keegan, maybe later even some snaps at C, and when that happens some G for McMahon.

I thought the "he" being referenced was ESP.  🤔

His TC stats were like a direct troll job to doubters which may or may not have been intended for this audience. But a week or 2 ago I pointed out how few passing attempts he had at each practice following 2 days with 13, and 12 passing attempts respectively. And now he posts that Hurts has been averaging more throws this year in camp. Its too coincidental. And we know other reporters read here.

ESP- yeah, I could see him reading this.  It doesn't boost his loser-ness.

What would you send DC for Dotson? What is his value? His 5th year option would be around 12 million.

With regard to my mother's stage 4 lung cancer:

A week or so ago, we went in for another CT scan to check on the cancer and today we had the appointment with the oncologist. The CT scan came back clean. After 5 years and 2 months of chemo (and her first oncologist refusing further treatment 3 years ago so that she could live out her days), the cancer is gone.

She has to keep taking the oral chemo pills, to keep it gone. But the cancer no longer shows up in the CT scan.

Great news for you and your family!

Howie could send Pickett to the Raiders if they really need a QB ... and if they have any WR talent that would help us.
