Sure, I would trade him for an obvious upgrade at wr3. But it would have to be a clear upgrade. Because in a year backup corner is going to be an issue without Ricks on the roster. And if Metchie is available for Ricks, I have to believe a fifth rounder or so could also get it done. So why not trade the pick?

When I was in CO last week the Denver station was raving about his play in camp the same way the local guys are raving about Hurts. We'll see I guess.

They may be bad this year but I actually think Nix is going to be a good NFL qb.  The guy started a record 61 games in his college career so he does have a lot of experience for a rookie

I think Payton is a comically overrated coach. Nix may end up being good, but not with bad coaching and no supporting cast.
