Man, one of the only contributors to that site. Death of PE.com continues.

Just stated on WIP that Washington gets whatever ends up being the better of the two 3rd round picks that the Eagles have/had.

I'd settle for Harper getting a base hit at this point.  Hell, even a walk.

Either Dotson sucks or Washington is dumb.

While these are not mutually exclusive, I will be an optimist and say it's mainly because Washington is dumb.

Dotson will probably wear 13 when Grier is cut

Who knows if there's any truth to this but would be interesting if the Eagles trade actually ends up helping Washington in the long run

I'd say it's probably somewhere in the middle. He's probably not a first round WR even though he was drafted there, but they probably didn't do everything they could to develop him either.

There isn't, NFLrums is worse than MLFootball.

Duuuuude AJ, Smitty, and Dotson in 3WR sets? Whether he plays up to his 1st round potential or not is one thing, but he’s an immediate upgrade over anyone they had in house. And if AJ or Smitty need to sit for a game or two I’m far more comfortable with him as the #2 WR option than anyone else we have. This trade could be massive for their offensive success this year. All 3 of our top wideouts can play outside or slot.

Yup. Stacked offense got even better. Goedert & Barkley too.

Good trade for the Birds to get Dotson. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Jonathan Allen is traded before the deadline, not in conference however.

Bo and Zach thinks that means Campbell is gone. Not sure if Ross will be gone too. We'll see what they do with Ainias Smith. Does he make the team or get the IR treatment? I highly doubt they cut him. I'd rather keep Campbell than Ross if they do keep one of them and they may cut both.

Also, many expected there to be a CB/WR swap. So Ricks might make the team or maybe they trade a CB for another position, we'll see.

I'm excited about this.  He was such an awesome play maker for PSU.

That's a vertical slot I thought they'd want and didn't sign or get in the draft.

Not seeing much happiness or love from their expressions.

I wonder what Michah Parsons thinks.

Would love to know what the eagles draft grade was on him a couple years ago

also, what’s nice about the trade is if it works out, you have a fifth year option on him as he was a first round pick.

Their expressions say "Someone wrote all over this, but I can't even read it"

WR3 was arguably the one of the most obvious areas of need. What other positions do you think they will aim to upgrade?

Notice that screen success rate.  Siri is drooling and he called Brian Johnson to brag about it.

Fantastic trade - exactly the type of player we needed. Also everyone needs to keep in mind who was throwing him the ball his entire career.

Sounds like rationalizing Jabar Gaffney as a bonafide weapon again.  Yikes!

How?

Super weird for a division rival to trade a need to an already stacked offense

Jabar had WR1 expectation level of excitement. Dotson is WR3 at best and the 5th option in the passing game arguably behind AJ/Smith/Barkley/Goedert. Not the same.
