Nice to have a WR3, even better to have some depth beyond AJ/Smitty.

He went #1 overall in our draft last night.  QB points are inflated so it's not uncommon to see 2-3 QBs go in the first round.

15 Qbs went before I took my first in the 10th

Don't know what to make of the trade. It seems like great value but it is weird why Washington is bailing so quickly AND trading within the division.

I think he was down in the depth charts and they don't have to make a decision about his 5th year option.  Getting a 3rd round pick now when you were likely going to not keep him makes sense.

Outside: AJ, Smith, Wilson?

Inside: Dotson, Covey, A. Smith?

Hard to see Campbell making this team unless Wilson goes on IR

He apparently struggled quite a bit vs press and would lose his balance at the top of routes.

Using him in motion on shorter routes should help quite a bit. Moore also likes to use mesh concepts which benefits smaller, shiftier WRs like Dotson.

Finally he can re-join EMB to run the mock draft competitions.

I think they carry 5. A. Smith to the PS

Yeah, and it's got crazy bonuses too, so scores are all over the place.  But for QBs, you get a point for every 10 yards instead of 25, a point for every 5 completions.  If they throw a TD over 40 yards its an additional 3 points, 50 yards an additional 8.  300 yard games gives you 5 extra points, 400 yards gives you 10.

I was going to take Tua in the 9th since everyone already had their starters, but I got cocky and took Xaiver Worthy instead because I thought I could wait one more round.  Then I was stuck with choosing between 2 QBs with achilles injuries, a long haired bust or a dude that likes to be fondled while getting massages <_<

Yea it remains to be seen how much of a "steal" this is. On paper, almost everyone thought we got a steal with the Golden Tate trade, but until we see how a player fits within the offense, it's hard to say a 3rd rd pick is easily worth it primarily based on where a player was drafted.

Dotson has 2 years left on his deal. Doubt the Eagles pickup his 5th year option. No need to worry about WR3 for awhile

I wasn't a fan of that trade. Give a 3rd for a player who's a FA after the year

Did you draft Goff?

Yeah, even though they essentially just moved back a 3rd isn't cheap. I would have preferred a Metchie

Has anyone on WIP suggested this means we are cutting AJ Brown yet?

Does he have gang ties?

Jabar had WR1 expectation level of excitement. Dotson is WR3 at best and the 5th option in the passing game arguably behind AJ/Smith/Barkley/Goedert. Not the same.

It was a funny joke.

His 5th yr option is alot. Will have to extend or release him after 24

You went back far for that one. I completely forgot about him until I saw his name. Didn't he do well in NE or somewhere else after?

You mean '25? He's got two years left.

We got a 5th back this time and threw in 2 7ths. So not as bad as just sending a 3rd for half a year of Tate.

I was talking about Tate. Dotson has 2 years left on his deal. This is his 3rd season

Scan the waiver wire and see who's on the block.

How would this waivered player fit in?  Who needs to go?

Can dotson return kicks? I seem to recall He did. Maybe we can finally love on from Covey

Howie will flip that 5th rd for a 3rd or a solid player at the deadline
