TE probably the biggest need now. People are saying TE3. I dont even think we have a TE2. Im not counting on Calcaterra. Hes always injured, and already injured again. Hes not lasting the season. Guaranteed. Hes a TE3, and even then you need a TE4 who can play ready to be called up from the PS. We still need a TE2.

Sure hope some Philly media organization hires him.  He would immediately be better than 90% of the Beats and it would be refreshing to see him being totally honest about players, not being required to hype.  His would be a podcast worth watching.

He joined the PHLY group. Just announced. He'll be contributing to the podcast with Bo and Zach and also will be the draft expert.

I don't remember.  I just remember us all talking about the terrible QB play he dealt with thinking he was breaking out here.

A lot of us thought the same about Reagor.

Any chance we trade Ricks to Cinci for either All, Sample, or McLachlan?  They need CB we need TE and they have a pretty deep TE room

I wish DAL would just give you guys Schoonmaker...he may actually be decent but they wasted a pick on him...why they drafted him in the 2nd rd after Ferg had such a good rookie year just blows my mind...and then went back that BS Michigan well and picked Mazi in the 1st rd the following year. They typically draft really well but missed the boat on those two picks in those rounds imo.

Should we change our F to Chip?

I think Sterns is a "stash" move. Fangio knows him from Denver, and he'll pass through waivers, so give him a veteran slot on the PS if you don't want to IR him (a couple slots are recallable).

Agreed. Unfortunately, not much out there

I can't listen to Wulf and have avoided him for a few seasons now.

100% agree. First Things First is unwatchable. Only reason why I watch Speak is because of Joy Taylor

Sounds like Fran will be doing some solo stuff as well. Might have to be a "Diehard" though.

I like Wildes, and Broussard is whatever. Nick Wright is the worst person in sports TV.

One of these guys will be available soon...although not likely Schoonmaker since they invested a 2nd rd on him, but Hendershot and Stephens Jr are definitely TE2 material, so is Spann-Ford imo who was an undrafted rookie this year.

Tanner McLachlan might get squeezed out of Cincy (they also drafted Erik All), more of TE3 move.

While you're at it, get him to throw in Parsons.  All the Penn State guys in the division are coming here anyway.  Might as well get it over with.

Switching topics, still not sure what the point of signing Caden Sterns was. Berman said the other day he labors around just to walk to watch practice. On their last pod Frank and Zangarro said the same thing, he looks nowhere close to being able to run let alone contribute. Seems like he's destined to be waived/injured and revert to IR for the year unless they come to an injury settlement and resign him at some point.

I don't think they can just put him on IR directly. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the rule is it has to be a new injury and not a pre-existing one to place players on IR.

Waived, brought back after week 1 IMI

For the Eagles next 3 number 1 picks it's a done deal...

The worst thing about Wright is he thinks he's an expert on the NBA, but he consistently gives the most awful takes.

Yea it remains to be seen how much of a "steal" this is. On paper, almost everyone thought we got a steal with the Golden Tate trade, but until we see how a player fits within the offense, it's hard to say a 3rd pick is easily worth primarily based on where a player was drafted.

I didn't and was one of the most vocal people here against it.  It was a much different scenario.  We traded (without looking here) a third for a 1/2 year rental and banked on getting the conditional pick back (we did, a 4th rounder).

For almost the same amount of trade back (3rd to a 5th) we are getting a cost controlled player for 2 years and a 5th year option (likely won't take it).  So from a cost stand point we are getting a much better value (cheaper, and 2 years vs half a year)
