It’s stunning how people continue to miss the importance of having a legit inside-outside WR to allow Brown and Smith to play in the slot more and to not have a total bum soaking up snaps. And god forbid one of them gets hurt.

WR3 is important. Solak is stupid

Hope Smith and Brown can show him the unselfish way so the attitude is good. Could have something special.

You got 4 hall of famers on that list dingus

Doesn't matter who WR3 is. QB1 will throw ints no matter what. Dotson will be lucky to get 3 target's a game from QB1

Eagles have the best trio of WRs in the NFL

I think the Eagles make a trade for a WR before the weekend

Well, you called that one.  Do you have the lottery numbers too?

Last season Quez, Julio and Oz combined for 36 catches on 60 targets for 380 yards and 7 TDs.  I suspect Dotson will be slightly above those first two numbers (7+ TDs is unlikely).  The value Dotson brings is the insurance that if either AJ Brown or Smith goes out a game or two with injury, Dotson can much more closely resemble a WR2 than any of those guys last season.

Agree on all accounts.

It’s tough though, because remember we’ll be throwing to the RB more than we have since shady

Was an easy call - maybe I'll buy a scratcher though

Imagine having your 3 offensive coordinators being Scott Turner, Eric Bienemy and Kliff Kingsbury. His QBs were Carson Wentz, Taylor Heinicke and Sam Howell.

I'd be mopey too.

No.  My QBs are f'n terrible.  Rogers, Lawrence and Watson.

Whatever.  I won last year when I started with Rogers and Watson and replaced them with Howell and Fields, I can do it again.  Right?

Welp - You could have had to draft Daniel Jones.

Or worse… Now that he’s firmly behind two other guys. All depends on his attitude. I admit to knowing nothing about the guy.

The last thing I read last night was a short article about our 3rd WR, and how we were rolling the dice there and it could come back to get us.

Agreed, they were top two/three if not #1 in receiver group positional rankings before this trade if I am not mistaken.

Can't do any harm either way. And if you win, send some my way ...

Only other WR trio that comes close to us is Houston: Dell, Collins, Diggs.

Fran Duffy is joining the PHLY team with Bo and Zach.

That's great - I like Zach as a reporter and Bo does have a good feel for the talent of the team but Fran will give them an x's and o's guy.

The 2000 Rams had the best receiver group in the history of the NFL...better than the late 80's Niners and Redskins, and better than the '84 Dolphins...what were they called? Greatest Show On Turf or something like that?

Well, no excuses for Hurts this season at least. Wentz would have slaughtered an orphanage to have half this good of a core back in 2019/2020.

If the Eagles defense can play just a little bit better this year they win the SB...if they do not win the SB many heads need to roll not just one or two. That's how loaded the roster is up there.

Zach the odd man out IMO.

I was pulling for him to team up with Sheil at the ringer to replace solak

Sheil definitely needs a sidekick. His solo pods are so bad.

Bo said talking to people inside the building that when they traded that 4 for a 3 they had it earmarked for a WR.
