Outside: AJ, Smith, Wilson?

Inside: Dotson, Covey, A. Smith?

Hard to see Campbell making this team unless Wilson goes on IR

Even if he is an Eagle this year, I don’t expect him to be on the Week One 53.  That would guarantee him his full salary.  If he is cut and then brought back after Week Two he only earns his salary on a prorated week by week basis.

Who knows, I'm not the GM, that's for Howie to figure out. My guess is they're probably looking to find a better option than Toth, Hennessy, Gates, etc. They're always looking to bolster the OL. The Eagles do it obsessively. If someone's available they/Stoutland like, it's probably top on their list to add someone to.

A better option than Toth, Hennessy, Gates, etc would be a player on the Practice Squad in all likelihood.  Given that, you may be right.

Here's my initial 53 now:

Really need to upgrade backup NT as Tui can't anchor at all.  You can easily cut Ricks to keep another OL (Kinnard).

The two players missing are VanSummeran and Kinnard.  I move Rick’s and A Smith to the PS

PSU all-time leader in PRs.

Does it make sense to field put return snaps with two men back and have one receive and the other block?

We use to always look for that when we would drive back to Denver from PA\NJ

We enjoy this road sign in Sacramento every time we go there.  A bit harder to steal though.

Story time. :offtopic:

You may think I'm too young for this,  but yes,  I do have shingles.

I guess because of my age,  my doctors didn't suspect it.

Old people get singles and get a quick diagnosis and treatment.

I am nearly 3 weeks in.  Have had 3 doctor visits including a specialist (ENT),  4 if you count my first visit which was an urgent care PA who just gave me drops for what she thought was an ear infection. blood work, an ultrasound and a CT. And I still have a follow up with my primary care doctor on Thursday.

Here is the worst part. My younger son's friend's mom is a pharmacist and the pharmacy I go to. Have any of you ever had shingles? Do you know the treatment for this? They prescribe valtrex. I should have had them send it to a different pharmacy but I didn't think of it while I was in the office.  I had to go pick up a herpes medication at that pharmacy,  and yes, of course she was working that day. My son's friends mom now likely believes I have genital herpes.

I had them as a kid, mostly took up my whole left side from my waist to my armpit... not fun for sure.

I definitely think BVS and Kinnard could play for this team at some point this year, but to me BVS is more likely to make it to the PS than Smith. Ainias Smith plays a premium position and, allegedly, has the ability to return. Eagles have him on a cost controlled 4 year deal, so they aren't going to just cut him with the hopes of him making it to the PS. They aren't going to cut a 5th rounder after their first camp, especially if they have shown any signs of life. I don't believe hes Clayton Thorson bad.

Eagles have carried more dead weight on the roster in the past. Just look at last year with Penny, Albert O, any CB not named Slay, Leonard, etc. I'm confident Ainias Smith can contribute to the team more than those players did last year.

Long term, I think BVS will make it onto the 53. The initial 53 has a different roster construction than what they run with the rest of the year. Ricks would be my #53, so you could replace him with whatever the flavor of the week is.

I take immunosuppressants so I'm more at risk for it, so I got the shingles vaccine a few years back called Shingrix. Have you gotten that? I think it's really rare you get Shingles more than once though so you're probably good once you fight it off. That vaccine sucked though. That one hit me way harder than the COVID shots. Kicked my ass. I heard Shingles sucks though. People I talk to who've had it said it's quite painful and makes everyday things a nuisance like just being able to sleep.

They don't really offer it unless you are 50+ or immunocomprimized. Neither apply to me so I haven't had the Vax.

I've also seen a lot of bad things about that one like any Vax these days so I'll have to talk to my doctor about it and see if it's recommended for me at this point.

Great to hear that it's rare to get them more than once though.

No I'm not playing. The game is my work.  As in,  I will be saving lives at the soccer game.

Good write up. If they can keep the players mentioned last year who had zero impact and zero upside, then there's no reason not to keep Ainias Smith.

Give Cooper 100% of the snaps today. Let him be ready for the season.

Nolan Smith will be playing today. Seems like him and Cooper are the only high profile guys

Wtf is with this 1 pm BS? And why are so many 3rd preseason games on Saturday? I miss the usual Thursday or Friday night game close out

Don’t think Nolan playing is a great sign of how coaching staff views him. Maybe I’m wrong and he just needs more reps/confidence.

He also played deep into the other two games. They don’t seem concerned about risking him to injury so I would say that’s not great for him or what role they have in mind.

If you were to rank these QBs in order of who you'd rather have backing up Hurts, rank them: Sam Howell, Mac Jones, Kenny Pickett.

I think I'd rank them in that same order, and the Eagles paid more for Pickett than the other teams paid for those QBs. It's not some huge deal, but for the life of me I never got that Pickett trade. I hated the Reddick trade, but I at least get why they did it, but no idea what this team saw in Pickett let alone giving up the value of like a 4th for when I think other guys at the position I think are better got traded for less.

Now watch Pickett ball out today in the preseason game.

If someone has a link to a stream please post (or send PM). Thank You

None. McKee is fine there and cost nothing

Except they got Dotson. So i see very little reason to keep him

Bradberry should be playing if they are serious about keeping him as a Safety

No Will Shipley either

Bradberry's probably getting traded for a 6th/7th round pick swap in 2035

Glad to finally see DeJean and Campbell.

Seems like there wont be much more worth watching in this one.
