Non Football related, but I'm gonna post this here anyway (along with having posted it in WU). With regard to my mother's stage 4 lung cancer: A week or so ago, we went in for another CT sca

There’s still far too many screens. They don’t Fing work !

Saw a lot I liked today. Some interesting decisions on the horizon.

I’ll ask again: We sure Nolan Smith is better than Patrick Johnson?

Our backup qbs suck

Yeah I’d rather give a roster spot to Campbell than Ainas. IR him or cut your losses.

Campbell is a cut and then a Week Two signing.

Better be. No pressure on you Huff.

Trade Nolan Smith for Reddick.

Didn’t Nick say last season that if he could go back he would have played the starters for some of preseason? And then he proceeds to not play them this preseason.

The cost/benefit isn't worth it. The benefit is coming out in game 1 and looking sharper for the first half. The cost is potentially having your season be over before it even begins if Hurts gets knocked out for the year.

Any time you make a big decision in life you should ask yourself if you can live with the outcome before you make it. If they came out not as sharp in week 1 I think they can live with it. If they lost Hurts I don't think they could.

Fair but Mahomes played for KC and they had to ask themselves that question as well.

Him not dressing pretty much tells you that he’s not going to be on the roster.  They are doing him and themselves a favor by not having him dress

It’s a possibility but I don’t think it tells you anything one way or the other without knowing their inner thinking. Fangio has commented him plenty and he has been very tell it like it is during PC’s.

Maddox didn’t dress, does that mean he’s also not on the roster?

The Chiefs lost and were sloppy early last year.  I think starters playing a few series 3 weeks in advance of games has no real effect. It's just fan's perception imo

Glad to finally see DeJean and Campbell.

Seems like there wont be much more worth watching in this one.

Both did well

Intrigued to see Ainas and as always McKee

A Smith had 4 yards per target.
McKee with a 56.6 passer rating and lost a fumble.

Here's a question for everyone: Who was the best Eagles player in the preseason?

could happen… But only if a team is very desperate. He cost too much for his current level of play. I think most teams believe he will just be cut.

Bradberry had an option bonus of $9 Million due earlier this year.  They paid it.  I don't think he's worth $9 Million,  but they paid him,  so team trading for Bradberry would be getting him cheap, and would give a pretty good pick for a not costly db.

Yeah, that was rubbish. The Birds weren't good, the officiating was eccentric and the Vikes seemed happy to run the score up until Hall splatted.  Some of the bottom of the roster should have their bags packed already. Ainais Smith will be cut because he's just so anonymous out there. Very little depth at WR and TE.  Can't see Jobe making it either.

Positives are the backup OL got a lot of snaps and DeJean got some live snaps.

Parris looks like he at least gets separation unlike the other WRs who all preseason got zero.

he did well.  yards per target of 17.  He looked fast, and yards after catch.

Highlights from the 1st half:

Tanner McKee gets to play the 2nd half

maybe an interception and a fumble by him?

Booker, Pat Johnson, Mitchell, Dean. One of those 4. Maybe McCollum too.

Would you trade Bradberry within the division?

Hell to the no.  Let them burn to the ground.

Guys who stood out: Burks - he should make it over BVS I hope, but the Eagles seem to have a hard on for BVS, so won't be surprised if they cut Burks.

Booker continues to look good. And had a great camp. He has to make the team. He is noticably better than Marlon Tuipulotu.

McCollum continues to look good as well. Not sure if there's room for him though.

McMahon looked good.

Burks got into a great position to make a tackle,  but didn't.  I guess you liked that.

The Eagles like plays like BVS's strip sack in preseason game 1.

VanSumeren was great again.  Been great this preseason and last regular season (high-mid last regular season).

DeJean was good,  VanSumeren was good,  Tristan was good. Okwara was good.   Ricks, Jobe, Zech were not good.

Anybody see the wr catch the ball off of Ricks helmet?

On offense,  Campbell was good,  Armani Rogers was good. Griffin Hebert had a big play.

The Eagles don't seem to have a backup TE who can run block.  With Uzomah gone,  it looks like the Eagles have downgraded at skill position run blocking.

Bo said Rodgers was oddly not in the building anywhere today. Said he could've just missed him, but something worth monitoring.

Fran Duffy offered a potential Eli Ricks for Lewis Cine swap trade.

They think Trevor Keegan will start the season on IR.

I tried warming up to the Smith pick. Seems like another super athletic player who's not very good at football.
