Yeah I agree on Booker or Burks

Is he on IR? I mentioned that he had the ceiling of Josh Huff and I was laughed at with people saying he'd instantly replace Covey :D

I have a hard time seeing them keep Burks. White, Baun, Dean, Trotter Jr are locks. I'd guess BVS is the 5th being that he's homegrown, liked by the staff and has two years of cost control vs Burks on a one year deal. Would they really go with 6 ILB's when only two, if that, would be on the field and Fangio doesn't really rotate guys a ton? I know Burks has ST ability but if they keep BVS and Jobe, that takes some of the pressure off keeping Burks for that.

Seems like he's stuck in a numbers crunch and missed too much time during camp to dig his way out.

We should’ve done this instead of Pickett.

Guessing he's cut

Quinyon gets his #27 back.

Its a tough one. Pickett has a good number of snaps and Wilis has it in fits and starts. But from a price perspective, the lack of comp is appealing

And apparently no PS either through his choice or theirs.  Fresh start

That's how I read that too. Just no room for him.

I'm not a Pickett fan but with this talent one of the most important things a backup needs to do is not turn the ball over and that's Pickett's strength.  That said I really don't want to argue with people about Pickett. He's not a good QB and I'm not saying he is

Did something come out? They can't do PS deals until noon on Wednesday I believe.

Johnny Wilson might end up being this camps Na Brown. Lit it up in practice for a few days, came back down to Earth then concussion. He's not been heard from since NE joint practice. He didn't exactly light it up in the 1st game either. Good prospect with tremendous size but inconsistent hands. The Eagles were desperate for WR3 to shine during camp so anything positive probably looked better than it actually was.

Nah, he has the Big WR locked up. I believe instead of a fourth TE, they go three (+1 on PS) and use Wilson in what might have been some of the 12 sets. I put little stock in PFN and PFF but with that said, he was the top rated WR in FBS last year. He is a pretty damn good blocker. Wish his hands were better but they are way better than Pascal. Then again, I could be wrong.

Mustipher waived - assuming he makes it back to the PS

How long have you had this in your drafts

Fantastic arm. Evidently can’t learn the position. Good trade for Green Bay. Nothing to lose.

I'm ambivalent to Pickett, but at least he has the live snaps in games. His issue was being over drafted by a team that is stuck somewhere in the early noughties, mentality wise. You can't unpick that in 6 months. But he has to show more than we've seen.

He is a better player than Marlon T.  Unfortunately Marlon T was a draft pick.

I thought that for a while but getting Dotson here changed the WR a lot. Before Dotson, they needed another WR just to fill out the room. Now, they can be a little more flexible with who they keep. Wilson's size is intriguing, but he really cooled off and then got hurt. Haven't heard a peep about him since his concussion. I have no issue with him making the team, but also wouldn't be shocked to see him released to try and PS him, especially now with guys like DPJ and Tim Patrick available. There are going to be veteran WR teams are going to want to bring in rather than a project rookie like Wilson.

Usually a guy doesn't send a goodbye tweet if he intends to sign on PS.  Probably wants a fresh start

A very complementary player to Jordan Love.  I agree.  Good trade by GB

Don’t agree on either count. The guy who has slipped into the rotation is Ojomo.

Oh, yea that's possible. He still has to clear waivers so maybe he just doesn't know yet.

Being a Draft Pick is nowhere near as meaningful a factor as you make it out to be.  Howie chose to pull the trigger on Mustipher just the same as he chos to pull the trigger on Marlon T.  What matters is comparative performance on the field.
