I was given that movie as a Xmas gift many many many years ago. I still have not seen it yet.

I refused to watch it for many years because I thought it was going to be stupid. But I promised a friend of mine that I would watch it if the Eagles ever won a Super Bowl. I honored my promise. I was not wrong about its quality.

Yeah well that's not alone... one of my favorites is Remember the Titans...if you enjoy it as well don't look up all the lies that were fabricated for that.

I'll still watch it cause it still good just not what really happened at all.

The Gettysburg scenes are a travesty.

Let me help you. 26 of 32 teams ran 11 personnel the majority of their offensive plays. That would be 3 WR’s, 1 TE and 1 RB. You are just arguing to argue.

I mean... you shouldn't need to look it up to know that the third WR is on the field a majority of the time for most teams.  But RR is here being like:

Let me guess, the ones that didn't last year are the run heavy teams.  Ravens, San Fran, Titans, Bears, Falcons and maybe us?

Edit: Maybe the Chiefs too due to their lack of WR talent?

Ignore the story of Rudy as there are lots of things in the movie that aren't true and just watch it with the intent of watching a good underdog story and you might really like it. The football scenes and music in the movie are terrific.

As a Notre Dame fan, I was appalled at the way that head coach Dan Devine was portrayed. He was essentially the villain of the movie. The university fully supported the making of the movie and thereby endorsed that portrayal of a coach who led them to a national title. Disgusting. I’ve never watched it since.

I guess I shouldn’t be in any rush to see it lol.

X or Split End and Z or Flanker are real positions,  and WR3 is simply not.

When I say #3 just think 3rd in the hierarchy for targets at the WR position. I couldn't care less where they line up. We know that it's Brown, Smitty getting the bulk of targets then everyone else getting crumbs when it comes to targets at WR. They now have a 3rd WR that can be a reliable threat that wasn't on the roster. Someone that Moore will certainly utilize way more than what we saw last year in terms of target distribution.  Ainias Smith was never going to be that guy this year.

Eagles in white and Packers in green despite it being a home game for the Eagles?  Weak.

On the final day of training camp last week, the Eagles’ coaches had some players square off in 1-on-1’s against each other in front of the whole team to close practice. LB Ben VanSumeren lined up at receiver against rookie UDFA S Andre Sam. VanSumeren ran an absolutely filthy corner route, complete with head fakes at the route stem, and absolutely dusted Sam, causing both offensive and defensive players to go nuts. But... Kenny Pickett overthrew him. "I played receiver growing up,” VanSumeren said after the Eagles-Vikings preseason game. "They wanted to give me a look at running some routes. So I ran one. I had a nice little swim off the release, gave him a little head move from the outside, little push off, and then back out to the corner. So, you know, it just felt like it did in high school, I guess.” Asked if more opportunities to play on offense were on the horizon, VanSumeren said, "We’re gonna, see, we’re gonna see real soon. That’s all I can really say on that.”

6'2 231m 4,45 speed, explosive athlete. Too small for TE, but perfect for H-back (played FB in college as well as LB).

Nice way to build depth on the bench. 😎

Eagles were 9th in usage.

Patriots, Ravens, Saints, Dolphins, Falcons and 49ers were under 50% but still in the 40’s.

WR3 isn’t a "position” but anyone not pretending to be Dr. Manhattan all the time knows it means the third WR whose going to play the most outside of Brown and Smith and third in the pecking order. Plus we have three guys who all can line up in the slot on any given play, so it’s not like Dotson is going to be slot only.

The Eagles often wear white when it's hot. They do it for home preseason games all the time. Why would anyone be outraged at them doing that exact same thing in the Amazon region?

I know it's a different O but I never saw the great value in using Stoll who you knew wasn't going to catch a ball over a 6th OL

So they have to be at 53 by 4pm today and the PS signings can start tomorrow after 12?

Maybe DeJean can keep bulking up and play some FB because I'm not so sure he's cut out for DB at the NFL level after that preseason game.

We get it. You hate white people.

In Brazil in September, you want to wear white

That is the Home Field advantage. The team in Green will get boo'd in Brazil! Plus it's going to be hot! :)

As of now it's a high of 87 next Friday in Sao Paulo.  If it's a night game that's mid 70's low 80's probably

I'm with you, I've never seen it lol. I have never seen Rudy either. I could not care less about people that played a snap or 2 because people felt bad for them lol.

Don't you do Rudy like that! It's about his determination and passion, and also about his family relationships.

Invincible wasn't good though.
