I totally forgot about him.  This tweet made me ask myself "Is he even on a team these days?".

A: Technically.  He is on the giants and I legit had no idea

I'm still showing Armani Rogers on the roster? Is that correct or did I miss him getting cut?

The easiest part of any coach's job -- the cuts:

Actually, that's probably a step up.

Irv Smith was cut by the Chiefs. He was a promising TE at one point with Vikings. Not sure what happened since or if he's worth a flyer.

I still don't know entirely what to make of examples like this, and there were several others recently, where Howie's first or even second choices would have been disasters and he kind of lucked into getting the better player later on. It's part luck but also shows he can pivot and explore other options.

Basically explains our 2017 and 2022 seasons. Better to be lucky than good. And because it somehow got us a ring, I won't complain too much.

Yeah it's hard to judge these 2nd or 3rd TE options.

No, Howie.

I'd take Noah Brown over Parris Campbell.

I might’ve taken Brown over spending a 3 on Dotson.

Has any team done well on KRs this pre-season? I saw no explosive plays from the eagles, which is not exactly shocking, but with 2 massive hits, and 0 big returns it feels like that rule has not been working as intended. Actually seems to be having the complete opposite effect of what was intended.

What's the downside of a normal kickoff from say the 30 but with the two lines close together as present - at least you get onside kicks back.

The ole twisted ankle

Go practice your limp

Remember when that assclown Nick Wright was crowing that KT would be great on the Chiefs?

total arsehat

If Trent Williams actually misses games, SF is completely screwed. He is the most important player on that offense.

Nick Wright answers the question:

What if Skip Bayless were younger, significantly dumber and had bad hair plugs?

I bet if they signed Noah Brown he'd beat out Dotson

Yea. Howie was getting slobbed on for making the trade but you also wonder if he pulled the trigger too soon.

This happened on the opening kickoff

Titans cut CB Farley. Unbelievable talent, but injury prone.

We have an abundance of talented young CBs, but I wouldn’t mind taking a flyer on him.

Bart Scott this morning on ESPN -- Carl Lawson is a sneaky great signing by the Cowboys. Definitely going to win 11-12 games.

A few minutes later:

ESPN's need to hype the Cowboys really is high comedy.
