Why do they have to return?  Can’t they just leave them on IR all year?

So under the new rule you have to designate these two specifically ahead of time. I misspoke by saying you HAVE to bring them back but they are taking up two of the 8 return spots whether they come back or not.

He may not, but I have an IR spot so it’s basically a risk free move. Zamir white is interesting. Question is will Stroud really finish that much higher than Purdy? Last year Purdy finished as QB6 and Stroud was QB9. Neither offer any rushing upside

I drafted Zamir and he’s done nothing but fall since.  Went from sure fire lead back to in a time share with Alexander Mattison aka most boring back on the planet.

Thank you blog best friend!

Kept too many in secondary. Imagine they will add a TE and have to clear room - not sure how long we keep 5 safeties, esp knowing Brown is coming back at some point. Would McCollum make it to the PS? Or Bradberry trade maybe? Also surprised Kinnard made it. I feel like a good amount of changes will take place before next Friday.

some guy in my fantasy league is offering me Brock Purdy, Zamir White, and Nick Chubb just for CJ Stroud. Pretty tempting, should I pull the trigger? Is Stroud gonna have that much of a better season to justify not making this trade?

Nick Chubb is missing at least 4 games to start the season and had a gnarly injury so who knows what he looks like if he comes back. Don’t fall for the name value. It’s basically Purdy and White for Stroud and I wouldn’t trade Stroud.

I wouldn't have done the Albert O thing but I don't think it's a huge deal either.  Bo's schtick is annoying. He's the one guy that makes that a tough watch

Gotchya.  So either way they are burning 2 IR returns.  Those have value and it seems silly to burn them already (well almost certainly be using them later) on two players that offer almost zero usefulness for 2024.

I’d say what matters is the average age of starters and the average age of the consensus 5 best players on the team.  (Eagles are relatively fairly young on that front I’d bet).

The average age of the roster has essentially been within a 1 year range forever.  And it’s a pretty tight spread across the nfl.

Its ok, they burned 2 on Dean alone last year. They are completely fine throwing one away on Albert O.

I at least see the logic behind A.Smith. Kid needs to get healthy and study the game before getting back out there.

I don’t like burning one on Albert O but I also think it’s ridiculous to act like the world is coming to an end because of it.

Agree completely.

Last year not a single backup TE did anything. Stoll was just for blocking. The bulk of carries go to 2 RBs anyway and a 3rd to mix in and they hopefully didn't pay Saquon to give Gainwell too many of his carries.

One of the more concerning things to me is their insistence of feeding Gainwell. Zangaro mentioned the one day in RZ, they ran 6 straight plays and every play went to Gainwell, runs and passes. I know I'm a Gainwell hater but I just don't understand why they intentionally try to force the ball to him. He should be getting minimal touches, not being featured.

Agree…the average age metric is pretty close among teams.  But we all know some positions age a lot better than others.  It’s enough to know they’re getting younger, but we didn’t really need math (or a smart lawyer) to figure that out.  We already knew Kelce and Cox retired.

I'm a lawyer who is much smarter than you.

This is not the eaglesfansmessageboard.com where the subject matter is other Eagles fans.

If you are a defense lawyer ill pray for your clients, if youre a prosecutor im sure those accused pray you are the one "prosecuting" them...

What if he’s a freak beast worker like Frank Abagnale Jr and is a lawyer, a doctor, a pilot and dabbles in check fraud?

Discount double check fraud?

Question for anyone who goes to the games. Do you enjoy all of the lights? Seems like it's an all out assault on your senses. I'm probably just getting old but I really liked the days when the game was the experience, not the never ending LED lights, banners and ads.

Was he waived? I would have loved to see the Eagles claim him if it was an option.

No way we keep Bradbury. He was the sole reason for at least 2 of our biggest losses the last two seasons lol.
