For me, the list would be:

1.  Lamar Jackson

2.  Brock Purdy

3.  Dak Prescott

Then, you can go:

4.  Hurts

5.  Tua

6.  Murray

7.  Watson

8.  Lawrence

Not a mile

Herbert is loved loved by the nerds but damn he always comes up short.

Lawrence got lucky getting Brian Thomas in the draft and not entirely sure Doug is that good of a coach anymore. I guess you could say Herbert last coach was as well. Lawrence also had his rookie year wasted, totally wasted by Urbs.

I'll but low on Lawrence this year

The players clearly don't like running QBs.

If that was the case then Lamar should be at or near the top

Good point.

Better question is, was he in a booster seat when he signed it?

My point was he's at the top of QBs that should not have received a mega contract. So he's the most overrated IMO

Marquee addition lol

LOL, c'mon, if that was a marquee addition, he would not have been available in late August.  Another old RB for the Cowboys RB retirement home.

You gotta be 'rated' to be 'overrated', right?

The correct answer is Caleb WIlliams.

Wait. Running QB's aren't best?

Interesting.  And what are the requirements that need to be fulfilled in order to get a job as a lawyer?

Good point. The hype around him is incredibly high for someone that hasn't taken a snap in the regular season

I wasn't a big wrestling fan, but he was one of my favorites.  The Dutch Mantel story about riding with Sid and the Iron Sheik is a must-listen.  RIP

Panthers claimed like 4 CBs.

I Heard one has to be able to read a RAS chart...🤔

No.  RAS doesn’t even qualify for admittance under the Frye rule much less Daubert through the extension of Kuhmo Tire to non "professionals”. PA follows a Frye type standard with a bit of a Daubert gatekeeper role.  Let the lawyers explain that.

is anyone else thinking that one of the things the Eagles are doing is cutting vested veterans,  who do not have to go to other teams if they don't want to,  in order to protect defense who aren't vested and subject to waivers?   After everyone juggles their roster,  the Eagles cut a defense player or 2 or 3 for offense.   28 defense, 22 offense is lopsided, unless you do things like playing your defense players on offense (like they did with Vansumeren in practice).   The Eagles have the players on defense to play the offense spots that are a little light.  I just saw Thomas Booker, blocking TE in high school.  That's a specific area of weakness.  Carter and Davis are both capable.  Booker also has more free time.  The video shows Booker mauling while blocking at the TE position.

Carter played TE in high school,  also offense at Georgia, with a td catch, lined up at RB, overall blocking.  Booker isn't likely to get a lot of snaps on defense,  but a blocking TE is useful and he used to do that.

Im not disputing any of that, I just dont like the word overrated with murray because it makes him seem bigger, taller than he is

Theres gotta be another word to describe his overratedness without diminishing how little he is

Come on all you word nerds whatcha got?

IMO, if Lawrence weren't hyped as a generational prospect, he would be labeled a bust by now. He's done next to nothing in his career. Herbert hasn't won anything either, but his stats are much better than Lawrence.

Lawrence's stats for the 2 non-Urban years -- 95.2 rating in 2022, 88.5 in 2023. Hurts was 89.1 last year, adds a bunch as a runner, and people dumped on him for his 2023. Lawrence lives on hype.

Shouldn’t Saul’s diploma say James McGill?

This is why smart teams draft OL/DL/CBs early. Drafting RBs, TEs, etc. with top 40 picks is tough.

It sucks that Howie forgot to put waiver claims in.
