I think too much is sometimes made of highly logical good moves that anyone could make from their couch...and "bad" moves that were also pretty logical at the time, just no better options.  It's more interesting to look at moves that go against the grain and how they turn out.  Howie has had some bad ones, but trading Reddick was unquestionably a good one.  He smelled this coming.

Yeah the Eagles didn't cut anyone good.

Some guys I like

Lewis Cine

Cole Turner

Robert Tonyan

Terrance Marshall

Noah Brown

Zack Kuntz

Demetric Felton

Justyn Ross

Irv Smith Jr.

Question for the folks who are on top of their Twitter/X feeds.  I don't have anyu such feeds set up.  Any suggestions on what I should do to get the Eagles feeds that you all are getting?

In all likelihood none of them are on favorable contracts, so they were not waiver claimed by any team.  So now they are free agents, able to go anywhere they want to.

No idea how to share it, but the one I follow is just called Eagles News.

I started laughing when the dude cleated the other defenseless guy in the back. Someone actually look at that and thought it was the best way to advertise their family friendly CBS station

if you told me this was a skit from the Onion, I’d have believed it

This was the NFL I grew up watching.  In some ways, I think things are much better now.  In some ways, I miss that NFL.  I forgot the name of the guy, but there's a HoF DB (for the chargers?) who used to use his shoulder and elbow to beat the ever loving snot out of guys while he was tackling him.  That stuff is _mega_ illegal now.  You might actually have to pay a fine if you were to pull that kind of stunt off today.

Not all were subject to waivers

Come on now...remind me who was insisting that Jobe would be acquired by the first team in the waiver order if the Eagles dared cut someone of his stature?  Poor dude just cleared all of waivers and will probably be lucky to spend the year on our practice squad.

I'd expect Toth, Jobe, Davis-Price as well. Curious about WR. Do they add a guy like Campbell? Do they try and sign Noah Brown to the 53?

In theory Toth & Campbell weren't subject to waivers so they could be negotiating with other teams

I don't know why, but it feels like Toth has been with this team for a decade.

Matt....you can look at the source of the tweets that are regularly posted here as a start.

As for Eagle beat writers, I like Jimmy Kempski, Zach Berman, Tim McManus, and Jeff McLane as a start.

Lewis Cine to the Jets.

I might be missing some but seems as if there's no significant players that were made available via cuts

I recall saying that young corners who are good on special teams are often claimed on waivers, but I never went nearly so far as to assert that Jobe was assuredly going to be claimed instantly.

Surprised they didn't sign Parham Jr. Kellen must've not been a big fan.

We don't 100% know they won't but they did sign Jenkins to PS and Garafolo suggested he was 3rd TE
