If you have 8 OL active, you can have 48 active players. If you don't have 8 active OL, you can only have 47 active players on gameday.

New rule coming when the 49ers cried about 3 QBs?    I might have to rethink the Covey thing.  Player 47 is the 3rd QB, OL #8 is 48... so they still have 46 players to dress.   Seems I was worrying for nothing.

Would you trade a 2025 2nd rounder right now for Trey Hendrickson?

OK, just trying to figure out who's who in the video

Dude in all black, no number to the immediate left of Gainwell (weightlifter on the right)- Moro Ojomo

Dude in all black to the right of Nakobe Dean I think is Thomas Booker

76- Mekhi Becton. He's huge. Listed on the roster as 77 but you can see 77 is Hennessy way in the back at the end of the video.

66- Jason Poe. One of the shortest OL I've ever seen

Avonte Maddox looks more homeless than ever.

Is the guy to the direct left of Jurgens, Patrick Johnson? I can't find anyone on the roster who resembles him.

I think we have Kelee Ringo in the Justice shirt and Asics.

43- Mekhi Garner

31- Tyler Hall

36- Tristan McCollum

52- Julian Okwara

85- Albert 0

86- Joseph Ngata

37- Mario Goodrich

34- Isiah Rodgers

Concerned citizen who puts Gainwells back on, AJ Brown

3- Nolan Smith

Can't figure out who the guys in the grey shirts in the back are.

Little guy in the middle is coach Fernando Noriega

Carter looks more toned in that video than he did last year.  But the competition is in itself, something good to see; this is the time of year the team building starts for those dog days later in the season.

No, it's been around for awhile. I think since the last CBA.

Yes, but the issue would be the cap, right? A 2nd or a 3rd and Sweat.

In theory, FB snaps.

The Eagles, I think uniquely among NFL teams have a lot of versatile players.  Offense and Defense.   And were HS QBs.  That kind of thing.  Tiebreaker is "were they a HS QB?"

The Eagles don't have a Fullback on the roster.  I guess you could say that there couldn't be a FB snap if there isn't a player who is called FB on the roster.   But the Eagles have a lot of Linebackers who are shorter than TEs and heavier than RBs who played offense in HS,  and maybe even college.  VanSumeren was a Fullback for the Michigan Wolverines for 2 years,  behind Ben Mason.  Was a WR/QB in HS.  All of those LBs with hiras and versatility on offense could be getting snaps on offense.   The top 3 picks in the recent draft all have offense/defense.  DeJean as QB won the state championship 2 years.  Quinyon was a running back.  Jalyx was a wide receiver.  Any of those guys or other guys could be on the field, doing something on offense. A 4.33 guy like Quinyon who was a running back,  could be a running back, a jet sweeper guy,  that WR3 that Covey and Campbell will be getting snaps at.  DeJean could do that too.   Jalyx at 250+ pounds,  a WR,  could be a blocker, and catch passes.   Etc.  The Eagles have a lot of players who have done a lot of things and are fast and strong.  Versatile freakbeasts.  I guess you'd call someone a FB if they're in the backfield and doing mostly blocking.  I guess.

Wtf did I just read

This makes me happy.  When asked about the important elements of his defense.  (h/t Zangaro)

Never understood the hate for Dean. Hoping for the best for him.

Don't hate him. He's just a JAG who can't stay healthy

You just called him a nobody when he is healthy lmao.

He better be healthy. It's the offseason

Yea. I like that they look to improve things but they tinker way too much from year to year. It's no wonder the Eagles have a guy whose job is to just know the current rules.

That isn't hate.  Real hate was here before 2017.  Where the wait for a Super Bowl victory was like burning bile within our souls.

Calling him a nobody isn't hating, just being honest. He's done nothing to prove he's anything but an oft-injured JAG.

He's a professional football player... that qualifies as somebody until he's not right? lol.

Seriously tho. What else would you call him? He is who he's been the last 2 years

It does, but admitting what someone is doesn't qualify as hating. Nakobe Dean is an NFL LB. Nate Gerry was an NFL LB too. Doesn't mean they are good. I'm not calling you out, but we've reached this point in society where so many people think a disagreeing point of view equals hate when it couldn't be further from the truth. We need to be able to have differing opinions and thoughts and then have conversations about them. Not just accusing people of hating.

If they took bradberry sure!

Nah that's an insult. Insults are hating in my book. Somebody calls you a nobody you cool with it? What would your response be?

Jordan Davis is the new short yardage back.

I would call him likely our starting LB lol.
