Yeah that was a good watch.  Some interesting stories.

Funny when they called Peters at the end.

If LeBron wants another title I think his best option is the Sixers.  I think ultimately that is why he ends up on the Sixers.  Plus they will be willing to draft his son.

Yes, he is. Good lord, if he's healthy!!!

JR, let's assume Becton is healthy and Howie extends him.

Ideally if he's Lane's replacement, do you put him at LT and move Mailata over to RT, or ask him to play RT?

I'm a little salty that I spent the past 4 years in Washington and not once did I get to see see the aurora

If he's fully healthy, he can play RT just fine. His problem was that he was coming off two consecutive major injuries to his right knee.

I like Becton as a swing tackle, but I find it hard to rely on him as a long-term solution. IF Becton can be the RT of the future though, that changes how future draft priorities. It would be a blessing.

Big big IF.  Almost as big as he is himself.

That's awesome!  I saw it once many moons ago in Chester County.  Hoping to get a peek tonight.

I'm still looking at this D-line as an area that could use some depth and versatile players for Vic's scheme. Just a few names that are FA's next year that you may be able to snag via trade. Deatrich Wise & Tanoh Kpassagnon, both veterans which would be something that can help the room overall. Dayo Odeyingbo is a younger guy that has the size and length to play on the edge in a 3 man front but not sure if the Colts would move him. Gabe Hall is an intriguing prospect, but will need time to develop so I'm not counting on him for much of anything this year.

This just really hammers home how bad the coaching was on offense last year

Very curious to see if and who we keep for RB 4. The first three backs are obvious, unless Kenny is moved, which seems highly doubtful. Ty Davis Price who was guaranteed some money, has better size then the other guys and runs with power, same with Kendall Milton. Really hope Ty can make the team and maybe get Milton onto the practice squad or if he looks better in camp than just keep him as RB 4. Both seem much better than Kennedy Brooks who never seemed to bring much to the table.

That's awesome. Cool that he shared that much.

He was a really nice, down to earth guy. And he spent a lot of time talking to my dad, especially when I told him it was his 80th birthday gift.

Bunch of things. Asked about how they judge desire as opposed to physical abilities on draft picks - he talked a lot about doing deep background dives, talking to high school coaches, etc. He admitted that the competition stuff is useful but guys can fake it. Sounds like they have really emphasized character post Reagor.

My dad asked him about the collapse last year in a roundabout way - asked how players can look like they have quit. He got the idea and basically said things snowballed and confidence was lost. That they needed to move on but the team was just stuck. Said he stresses moving on, and that is the point of dawg mentality. Said it just didn’t get through.

I asked him how he controls the urge to just lose it on reporters/WIP. He said he mentally says the smart ass answer in his head and then catches himself. But he’s not so great at that during the game…

Talked a bunch about how complex schemes have become, and I asked how often are players running it correctly versus just winging it on instinct. He said fans would be surprised how much guys are sticking to assignments. He talked about Jalen being one of the smartest players he’s had. And that Kelce was off the chats.

Finally, just talked roster construction. He did say we should be excited about the new CBs. But also just talked a bunch about family and stuff.

We also met Cam Jurgens. Nice guy too.

I really wish you just peppered him with nothing but RAS questions.

Or ask if he ever thought about covey at fullback

I'm going glass overflowing with fullness and saying Becton rejuvenates his career here and is the heir apparent to Lane Johnson. He's finally joined a winning organization with a winning culture. He has the best OL coach in the game and can learn from the best RT in the game. He can fine tune his body, get healthy and become what people thought he could back during the draft. Changes the Eagles entire dynamic going forward.

Please 🙏 be right.

I used to post stuff from this account thinking it was somewhat creditable. Now I realize how big of a joke it is.
