Which is why I've been banging the table for Connor Williams. Would have been one of the first OL signed if not for the ACL. Can be had at a bargain. Howie likes to upside hunt. Has OG/C versatility. Can never have enough OL bodies. Would be nice to have even if he starts the season on the PUP.

If he can start the season on the PUP, with a high confidence he will be available at or before the Bye, I would support that signing.  What do you think the cost would be?

Predictions on Sixers big moves this off-season?  Can't say PG-13 either

Mods just let us say Dick recently, we can't even say PG-13 let alone R stuff

Probably one year 5-7 million with incentives to push it higher based on playing time.

I'm just glad you didn't say the K.A. word

Zangaro's 1st attempt at the 53. There just aren't a whole lot of open positions on the team. I really think they might have 6 true battles going on. Would be a great camp for Lehigh to watch all of the CB battles going on though.

How do you get picked off there Schwarber.  Hopefully they pick him up

Hate keeping both Paris & Covey. If you keep 6 wide receivers then one of those guys can go and keep Wilson. I don't get the love for Campbell, he's done next to nothing in his career besides get hurt and was benched by the Giants last year who had no weapons on offense. I'd rather the 4th RB than the 6th receiver even.

This team isn't great at running the bases.  They get picked off too much, that's for sure.

Phillies have been helped by the Mets today.  0 hits with RISP today.   Got 2 runs thanks to a plunking and a walk after that.   Only hit that inning was a lead-off single by Rojas.   Meanwhile, Nola is pitching an absolute gem.

🤦‍♂️.  No.   The question was why are they screwing the FANS.

I don't think that's screwing the fans.  The night time games are always the funnest to attend. More time to tailgate, the excitement in the air always amped up a notch and your national Eagles fans will be able to watch the game.

Switch out Parker for Wilson. I think Burks finds his way onto the roster. I also like Gabe Hall as the longshot UDFA to make it. CB is going to very interesting.

Still the best record in baseball.  Only a few runs behind in differential.  :phil:

More Phillies...

They lost their first two series of the season at home (Atl, Cin).  Since then they have won 9 series, tied 3, and lost none.  None.

22-5 in their last 27 games.

LA can probably hit a lot more consistently than the Phillies who are still as hot and cold as the team that lost to AZ.

Parker as the blocking tall WR?   Nah, that’s Wilson, most likely.  The PFF highest graded college WR for blocking doesn’t project to STs?  Literally a 6’6”  231 lb guy that runs 4.52 forty with good lateral speed doesn’t project for STs. That’s nuts.  Keeping two munchkin WRs for a QB that is 6’1”.  I know they have to provide content but…….

Dropping into coverage is both athleticism and instincts, and probably comfort in space. Sweat is probably more comfortable moving forward than backing into coverage.

He's never shown LB skills, he's a pure pass rush DE.

It's not just getting to a spot quickly, it's having the feel for the passing game so you can read QB eyes and anticipate routes through your area.

We need some defenders who can stop the run, right now I don’t see any.

I am not sure what this means.  The team was fine defending the run last season.  They were next to the bottom in pass defense.

We don't need the negativity while the team is killing it.  Turner out... Realmuto out... Schwarber missing a few games...   and only one minor slip up in FL.

Not from the Bills on. They were awful against the run

Team chemistry looks great. Unfortunately, Dean suffered a neck strain and is out for the season.

The Matt Patricia era was not kind to any phase of the defense
