Hate keeping both Paris & Covey. If you keep 6 wide receivers then one of those guys can go and keep Wilson. I don't get the love for Campbell, he's done next to nothing in his career besides get hurt and was benched by the Giants last year who had no weapons on offense. I'd rather the 4th RB than the 6th receiver even.

Id rather they keep Paris than Parker, that dude is washed.

Having said that agree with the rest anais and wilson both have better upside than Paris and Parker and covey is a top PR so...

I like Hall over Maddox, Maddox cant be trusted to be available, rather take my chances on hall.

We don't need the negativity while the team is killing it.  Turner out... Realmuto out... Schwarber missing a few games...   and only one minor slip up in FL.

They earned it until they prove otherwise after doing it two years in a row in the playoffs. Making a WS and the NLCS is great until the bats go quiet as hell. That's who they are. Hot and then ice cold, so I'm excited and hopeful, but realistic. They need another bat and BP help.

What scenario would we have to see playout over the next 4 years that the Eagles choose to take the out on DeVonta Smith's contract after the 2027 season?

The only scenarios I could possibly see is he gets major injury(s) that have him basically fully washed by the time he's 29, he suffers some concussions and gets Antonio Brown level CTE where he's become a total wild man off the field or he somehow lands himself into serious legal trouble.

All this busting on Stubbs makes me ill. OK, he’s not JT but pretty much no one is. He did a great job today with Nola. He needs time and games. He’s very quick and has a good arm, second only to JT in the NL. It wasn’t his fault Wheeler had no command the other day. Burying him is just, well, stupid.

Team chemistry looks great. Unfortunately, Dean suffered a neck strain and is out for the season.

You can tell that they missed CJGJ's energy.

Jordan Davis and Kelee Ringo are very visible in a lot of these too.

Devonta is about a year young than AJ. Who will end their career at the top of this list?

I believe it’s Devonta simply because I think his weight class will last a lot longer in the NFL than AJ’s.

Smith for the same reasoning even though it’s funny everyone thinks a 170lb dude will last longer than a 220+ guy.

Also don’t think either come close to Carmichael’s TD’s.

Well, until they prove otherwise getting too much false hope without another bat is like a Cowboys fan getting excited about the regular season before Dak goes cold in the playoffs.

Love the Phillies but two freaking years in a row they ripped the heart out blanking at the wrong times. All of this is good to see and be happy about but it's the same bats and pen.

The starters have improved - especially Suarez, taking pressure off the pen which improved a lot last year. Bats are better with Trae out of his slump and Bohm hitting his prime. They are built to win now.

Your water broke? Who’s the baby daddy?

Eagles @ Bengals 4:25 week 8

They still need another bat and help in the pen.

They both pass Calvin Williams after this season.

Devonta has a shot to break Harold Carmichael’s receiving yards record if he plays his entire career here and stays healthy.

Nah.   That part is a stretch.   The Phillies got to the World Series and they got to within one game of going back to the World Series in back to back years.   When have the Cowboys even sniffed that level of success.    Baseball is a much different sport than football.   Baseball, at its heart, really still comes down to pitching.  Hit the wrong pitcher at the wrong time and things go south.   And hitting is traditionally a very streaky thing.   It was unfortunate that the bats died at the same time, and that's where you hope the addition of Merrifield might help so that they aren't reliant on Castellanos if he goes ice cold again.   And Rojas is improving as a hitter.   Bohm is better as a hitter.  Stott is rounding out nicely, as is Marsh.    There are no guarantees in baseball.  It isn't as simple as imposing your will on the opponent in the same way football is.

I get not wanting to be let down again... but the ride is part of the enjoyment of the ending.
