I got rid of it a few years ago.  Haven't missed it.  And won't be getting it for 2 lousy games on Christmas.

Non Football related, but I'm gonna post this here anyway (along with having posted it in WU). With regard to my mother's stage 4 lung cancer: A week or so ago, we went in for another CT sca

Prepaid... but even if it were, I wouldn't care.  I am fine continuing my boycott of streamed only games.

Texans/Ravens sounds like a fun game to me :groovy:

I kind of agree with you, but on the other hand…who does not have Netflix already?  I mean, I suppose there are a few that don’t.  Anyone that has kids does.

It's not just that it's that you're stuck watching it on Netflix. I know on Christmas, when the family is together, those who watch football, often like to flip between the NFL and an NBA game or even a Christmas movie that might be on TV. I know it seems like something minimal to complain about but it just takes all convenience out of putting the TV on to watch stuff. You're going to be stuck watching the NFL on Netflix being force fed their commercials for every medication under the sun and probably an EV or two.

I also know a lot of people who don't have Netflix now because the only reason they had it to begin with was they were part of a family plan and didn't have to pay for it. What happens when that family member is hosting the rest on Christmas? I can't think of one positive outcome for games being exclusive to one streaming service, rather than on a regular broadcast channel.

Looking at the Eagles roster earlier and it’s pretty amazing what Howie pulled off this offseason. Not saying it will all work out but there are very few things going in I would have wished for that he didn’t do. Even the Nostalgia for the fans with the Trotter pick in the late rounds. Heck I even forgot about signing CGJ haha

Can’t wait to see them all on the field.

The way AJ has been piling up yards in his first 2 seasons here, he'll break it as well

Possible. I’m guessing he’s here for another 4-5 years. He’d basically need about 1205 yards per season to do it in 5 years. And in 4 years, he’d need 1506 yards per season. Basically would have to stay healthy for 15-17 games those years to do it and on a similar trajectory. I do think smith ages more gracefully than brown.

This thread is amazing

Any chance we can get this Bryce Harper face as a smileys & emotion?:howie:

For just 2 games, I wouldn’t either…we just happen to have it already for other reasons.

I suppose that’s what his is about…Netflix trying to get people who are not already on board to be on board.

This schedule sucks. 2/10. Worst reveal ever.

🤮 @ week five bye.

Seriously though, those prime time games are all pretty meh besides maybe the Rams. Not much juice in the other ones.

Not enough 1pm games for me, but this is still WAY better than last year.

I don't love prime-time games because I'm too wired at the end to sleep.

They fly home for Thanksgiving after the Rams game and don't fly anywhere again for the next 6 games.

Now that’s weird

Supposedly we are having joint practices with New England. Curious if they have one with Minnesota. I’m not sure they would have one with the Ravens and be away from TC for two straight weeks.

Teams that play 3 consecutive road games really struggle in the 3rd game. Big advantage for us.

The rare preseason game against a team we are playing in the regular season.  Seems like the Eagles preseason marriage with the Jets is officially done.

Could be a 14 win season, anything fewer than 12 would be a disappointing regular season.

Hardest games are probably ravens, Bengals, packers. I always assume splits with the division but they aren't going to lose to the giants this year after last year's embarrassing displays.
