I might even go 9.5, he nailed it and didn't even take his hands out of his pockets to catch himself!

I deducted 1.5 points for the approach. The landing itself was near perfect

Now that’s weird

After the last two years I’ve become so used to having a gauntlet of games where multiple teams are coming off a bye that I read that wrong 4 times.

The schedule release is as exciting as watching The Masked Singer.

False. The Masked Singer gets better with weed.

Nailed it

So the Cowboys rookie LT, Tyler Guyton, who most view as very raw, will play his first NFL game against Myles Garrett.  That could be fun to watch

How many teams did we play last year that were coming off a bye?  I seem to remember it was at least 2 or 3

There’s some weird quirks that never make sense to me.

Kirk Cousins in prime time for the real home opener 3 years in a row.

Every time they play Tampa Bay in TB outside of playoffs is in September when it’s still ungodly hot.

NY Giants to end the season when it’s been mostly pointless every single year.

Both Cowboys games usually in the second half of the season.

The Kirk Cousins part is wild. But who knows, that might be Michael Penix!

At least we get Dallas outdoors in January.

Prime time Cousins is a plus match up

Looking back, it looks like only the Chiefs.  I thought it was more than that.

2022 we only had one as well, but had 4 road games on short rest, so that's probably what I was remembering.

I HATE streaming (and I have Netflix and Amazon) b/c you can't DVR the game, skip commercials and be able to deal with outside distractions.

When I've used Amazon Prime to watch some egg chasing, you can start from the beginning and fast forward through, or watch live.  It's not clear until you experiment tho

No gauntlet this year...no triple away games...all in all not too bad of a schedule...looking forward to taking over the Rams stadium again in week 12. I am retiring from Education in 15 work days after 38 years...I am definitely flying to Philly and catching 1-2 games this season.

I genuinely wonder if the likes of Lurie and Smolenski had private words with the NFL about the scheduling last season.  It was very egregious last season for many reasons.

I think it was that we played a lot of teams that had the previous Thursday game…so they had 10 days of rest.  Which is still a big advantage.  I think in one or two of those matchups we only had 6 days rest in comparison

Me now that the schedule has been released

The NFL doesn't care.  They will do whatever they think means the most money for them.

See above.

Not ideal but on the bright side, the Eagles won’t have to get on a plane for the last 6 weeks of the season. That should help somewhat.

When you look at it visually...they are on the road every three weeks.

Agree.  But their mini-bye is before week 12 - a long plane ride to LA.

Also, their mini-bye was totally wasted before week 3 last season.

These are nice.

Schedule tiers...

Underdogs - @Dal, @Cin, @Bal

Coinflips - GB, @LA, Dal

Could be tricky - Atl, @NO, @TB, Cle, Jax

Take care of business - Was x2, NYG x2, Car, Pit

Split the top 6 and come up short in 2 of the others....12-5.

My guess is the Washington TNF game will be black uniforms.

Kelly Green will be Jaguars SNF and the week 17 home Eagles game against the Cowboys.
