This is the part where mike plays dumb and pretends like he and his cult leader haven't been stark raving made for the last 10 years spewing heinous amounts of ish and rhetoric about the left.

He's from West Virginia. He's not method acting.

I'm really disturbed that multiple people here wanted to see him get assassinated. It's one thing to hate him, but another entirely to want to see him get shot in the head in front of the entire count

She was born premature and spent a month in the NICU. She was only 4lbs when she was born! She has OT and PT for low tone. She is doing incredibly and I’m truly amazed by her every. single. day. Tiny

Oh so that started with Trump.  Are you sure?

Did I use the word "start"?

And you all pretend Trump wasn't already POTUS and we somehow still cling to our precious democracy (it wasn't ever really threatened at all but shhhh)

Oh so now you want to play semantics.

You sure it "escalated significantly"??

What are you basing that on?

If the attempt to subvert democracy doesn't matter than neither should an attempt to end his life. You can't have it both ways, Sling Blade.

Yes those two are equivalent.  Some tweets are definitely the same as firing a bullet at someone.

This is what TDS does to people.  I'm not sure you were ever rational before this, but you're definitely not now.

Which rooftop are you camped out on?  Or did you pick the grassy chain link fence?

And you pretend that J6 never happened, or that the guardrails that reined him in last time, won’t be there next time. Or the fact that he literally said he wants to be a dictator and has said he would suspend the constitution. Your willful ignorance is epic.

Honest question... have you even read about his previous cabinet members coming out of the woodwork the past 4 years warning the American people how close we were to disaster if it wasn't for having a handful of sane people in the room to keep Trump from doing what he really wanted?

My position has always been that the rise in division started well before Trump BUT that it escalated significantly once Trump came on the political scene.

Trump didn’t start this fire, but he has poured more fuel on it than anyone.

Which of those guard rails has been removed or altered in any way?

You all continue to act like some idiots sitting in a building means our entire system of government collapses.  This isn't central Africa.

"No, @DrPhilly what you've observed with your own eyes and ears for years is not actually real. Let me give you the real truth you won't find coming from the MSM elitist cabal."

Did I do it right?

Nobody's talking about tweets, you inbred idiot. We're talking about a detailed plan laid out by John Eastman and carried out by Mark Meadows that includes coordination of false slates of electors in multiple states, coercion, conspiracy, and ultimately an act of domestic terrorism. Ashli Babbit lost her life just like Corey Contemporare did.

Oh, and I'm not a former trump supporter so that disqualifies me if the profile of the last two shooters is any indication.

The guardrails that kept him alive during the two assassination attempts held up just the same. Which of those has been removed or altered? We can play this game all day, Sling Blade.

So you missed out on the 60s or even the Bush/Cheney administration?

I'm only 39 and people called Bush a war criminal and there was all kinds of rhetoric.

This is recency bias, supplemented with the fact that what Trump says hurts your feelings.

And for everything said about Trump, people sure are quick to join in on the "escalated rhetoric" super quick.  It's hypocritical nonsense with no basis in reality.

Ok I'll keep it simple for you.

"To save democracy we have to hand pick our nominee and jail/kill our political opponent.  We're heroes for saving the country!"

We need those trannies/cocaine in the WH, multiple wars all over the place, and horrible economic policies to save our nation

Not even close.  Clearly social media has a large part to do with it but the impact on every day life is FAR greater than it was in the past.

And that's Trump's fault?

Social media, the mainstream media, etc?  You just admitted that is the real cause but it's still Trump.

I most certainly did not.  I said social media was a large factor.  Of course Trump is all over that tool and uses it as much as or likely more than anyone else.  So, yeah, it is still Trump the grifter/barker with a massive megaphone yelling out.
