I'm really disturbed that multiple people here wanted to see him get assassinated. It's one thing to hate him, but another entirely to want to see him get shot in the head in front of the entire count

She was born premature and spent a month in the NICU. She was only 4lbs when she was born! She has OT and PT for low tone. She is doing incredibly and I’m truly amazed by her every. single. day. Tiny

Doesn't take an expert to figure out the security challenges go up ten fold with a wide-open outdoor venue like that. For all the heat USSS is getting over this (much deserved), seemingly zero is directed at him for these types of decisions.

I'm reminded of the episode of West Wing when the agent in charge was talking to Leo about not having an awning by choice and he said we don't comment. Fiction,  but we've come a long way when now the SS is like it's their fault.

He shouldn't take blame for choosing to have an outdoor event. Ultimately, it's on him if he doesn't listen. It's up to them to have the basics covered though and they obviously didn't. Politicians have been having outdoor rallies for decades. Biden even had the car honking one.

Does Trump have more than most? Maybe, but they are supposed to do their job. They didn't this time.

I think that's a definitely.

However, that roof obviously should have been secured the ENTIRE time.

Of course they're supposed to do their job, and of course this was a massive failure on their part, but the fact remains that these types of venues make doing that job an order of magnitude more difficult. Not to mention the risk to the health of older attendees in this heat.

Love that episode, but it was Toby, not Leo. 😀

It looks good on you. Maybe wear it around the house for a few days to make sure that’s really the look you want before you wear it out in public though.

idk how reliable WPXI is but here goes nothing...

PITTSBURGH — Channel 11 News exclusively confirmed Tuesday that Thomas Crooks was spotted by police hanging around the American Glass Research complex more than an hour before the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump.

PHOTOS: Former President Donald Trump rushed off stage after shots fired at rally

Multiple law enforcement sources described the security operation in detail Tuesday, directly contradicting public statements from the U.S. Secret Service Director.

According to law enforcement sources in multiple counties in western Pennsylvania, there were two sniper teams set up near the building where Thomas Crooks fired from Saturday evening. However, in direct contrast to comments made by Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle, there were no local police in the same building where Crooks made it on the roof.

Channel 11′s Nicole Ford also obtained exclusive photos showing the cell phone and transmitter device found next to Crooks moments after a Secret Service sniper shot and killed him. On Monday, Ford reported pictures of Crooks had been taken by local police at least 26 minutes before shots were fired and sent up the command chain.

On Tuesday, multiple law enforcement sources confirmed with Ford that Crooks was also spotted by police with a range finder.

According to multiple sources, when former president Trump took the stage Saturday, Crooks was still on the ground and had not yet climbed the roof of the building. Channel 11 news can also confirm that Crooks was on the roof with a gun for fewer than seven minutes when first confronted by a Butler Township police officer.

Ford questioned state police on their role in the command center and who was running the top lines of communication. She was told they cannot release information relating to operational security or planning.

  "It's just a flesh wound!"

No stitches for a gunshot wound.  Dude brought a F'ing 5 foot ladder with him.  Ignored by Trump's security.  Anyone seriously buying the narrative on this sheet anymore?

He was a registered republican. His classmates in history class cited that he was often the only student on the conservative side (this is a fact unless you say there is a conspiracy of misrepresentation by his peers: https://www.inquirer.com/news/pennsylvania/thomas-matthew-crooks-trump-shooter-id-butler-20240714.html), he belonged to a gun club, neighbors have said his house had Trump signs in front of it. Some circumstantial but this is a lot more than a single donation to democrats to be able to watch the process--"A spokesperson for Progressive Turnout Project said in an email that the group had received the donation "In response to an email about tuning into the inauguration” -- not support but participation to be informed.

It is also pretty apparent that he was suffering from mental illness -- an agnostic political position.

BTW, you do the victimhood thing well--foundational RNC platform. Congrats.

Sure, he was a registered Republican… who donated to democrats and tried to assassinate the Republican nominee.

Who cares if he took the Republican side in debates? By your own source he was the only one on the Republican side, so maybe he took it because no one else did. Have you ever participated in debates? You realize part of debate is arguing the other sides position, right? You don’t know what he said, you don’t know his arguments, you don’t know anything.

The facts” clearly support that he suffered from TDS like many in here who have outright condoned his actions.

Victimhood? There is literally a man who died while shielding his family. Yes, there are victims. Maybe you shouldn’t forget that.

Yes, supposedly a detonator for the explosives in the car. Unclear if it was functional, but one of the reports said a device was neutralized prior to searching the vehicle further.

Is the transmitter related to the bomb making materials they found? I thought I read something about a detonator or transmitter found for that.

WPXI is out of Pittsburgh and is owned by Cox Media Group.  They own a few CBS and Fox affiliates as well as independent channels around the country.

Cox is owned by Apollo Global Management, so what you are really asking is if you trust the Sixers owner to give you accurate news.

The wildest part about all this is that the conspiracy right is making essentially the exact same case as the left on this one.  They're pointing out all these inconsistencies and saying none of it makes sense and something's off and that it was clearly allowed to happen, but of course they're conveniently leaving out the only actual conclusion that makes even a bit of sense, which is that Trump and his people set this sheet up, but then it went horribly wrong when this unhinged weirdo started firing at random.

My biggest complaint is the pose. That shouldn't have been able to happen. They should have dragged his ass off the stage if he was trying to stay there for the cameras

Are you talking to him or to the guy trying to profit off of this by selling $300 sneakers?
