Dumb

 Of course it's dumb. Trump spent months convincing his morons that the election was stolen and getting them pissed enough to go storm the capital. Biden said it's time to put Trump in the bullseye and exploit all his shortcomings (which he said in a phone call no less). It takes a real genius to compare the two.

I'm really disturbed that multiple people here wanted to see him get assassinated. It's one thing to hate him, but another entirely to want to see him get shot in the head in front of the entire count

She was born premature and spent a month in the NICU. She was only 4lbs when she was born! She has OT and PT for low tone. She is doing incredibly and I’m truly amazed by her every. single. day. Tiny

Thanks, Paul.  I would tend to agree.

You also have to want to or have supportive people encouraging you to do so. That’s what makes mental health issues so tricky. Many mentally ill people are paranoid or don’t realize they have a problem. Or don’t like how they feel medicated. Obviously it’s a complex issue of which access is only a part.

It's a sad situation all around. If the reports of him looking up "major depressive disorder" prior to this shooting are true it seems like he at least knew some was wrong. But in reality we'll never know exactly why he didn't get the care he clearly needed. It's Fed all around. And yet, somehow better than the alternative of a crazy Antifa/MAGA but trying to assassinate Don.  So there's that?  Blah...

It is sad that's the best they can come up with.

I’d say Biden didn’t mean to get Trump shot because he said bullseye instead of crosshairs but probably his supporters speak Joe so they knew what he meant. Every time I hear that phrase I envision Trump being strung up on a dartboard

A day after they tried to compare an assassination attempt to a football player being carted off the field after an injury. Pretty clear some of these rubes aren't exactly playing with a full deck.

Absolutely insane to use a shutter speed that fast for a political rally.  Maybe for a football game or something else you wanted to catch split second action, but using it for a political rally makes exactly zero sense.

Yep.  If you argue that what Trump said encouraged that crowd to go storm the Capitol, then you sure as hell can argue that Biden saying "It's time to put Trump in the bullseye" encouraged someone to literally do just that.

Sorry if your smooth, dementia riddled brain can't see that.

Trump's comments were in public to a large crowd that he called to DC with promises of it "being wild."

Biden's comments were on a donor call, not made in public.

Yeah -- basically the same thing.

Also, Biden made the comment privately on a call with donors. But...yeah, both sides.

Biden delivered a forceful message in a private call with his National Finance Committee, which includes hundreds of top Democratic donors and bundlers.

This utterly ridiculous need to somehow act like the rhetoric is equally inflammatory from both sides is beyond infuriating at this point. The Democrats occasionally go over the line. Trump and his people live over the line. They aren't close to the same.

Trump told people to exercise their second amendment rights on Hillary Clinton FFS. MTG has called for Pelosi to be killed.

Just stop it already.

Yeah that's the first part of this whole thing that doesn't add up for me. A shutter speed that fast in full daylight doesn't make a ton of sense unless you had some massive telephoto lens on it, which he didn't since he was right next to the stage. Not gonna read into it much farther than that though. Could just be a standard practice in case someone tried to rush the stage, or if he were to fall, etc.

You and your facts.

Even in CVON, there's only so much stupid I can take. I realize @mikemack8 is trolling, but there are way too many people buying into this both sides BS.

Yes, Biden's words caused a Republican to shoot Trump.

You morons should maybe pay attention to the words coming out of your dopey pie holes.

A registered Republican shooting the republican candidate with a gun democrats have tried banning for years. Ya, it’s Biden’s fault.

Oh please it is inflammatory on both sides. Choosing one Biden remark as an example of how it’s not is disingenuous. Supporters on the left, politicians, celebs, social media, etc has people whipped into a frenzy with very little attempts from either side to cool tensions, call for peace and cooperation amongst various opinions or to treat each other civilly. Look at how the 2 debated each other - it was embarrassing. You have women running around claiming they need to delete period tracking apps from their phones or the government will accuse them of abortions and throw them in jail. I can’t even deal with one side claiming moral high ground over the other in this regard. People in this thread alone highlighting what was better about Hitler.

Not really, eight years of silence about trump’s violent rhetoric, trumps the sudden concern for political violence. I agree both sides need to tone it down, but let’s stop pretending that it’s been anything close to equal.

Goalposts have now moved from the rhetoric coming from the politicians themselves to what their supporters say on social media. Fun!

But enough about JD Vance.

Video gif. A man turns and faces us with a pleased smile. He wipes his hands together as if a job has been done.

Show me the examples of leading Democrats calling for Republican politicians to be killed/attacked. Trump called for Clinton to be killed. Mocked the attack on Paul Pelosi. MTG called for Pelosi to be killed. If it is on both sides, you definitely have examples. FFS -- Trump was OK with people trying to hang his own VP.

And no, comments by celebrities aren't what we are talking about. Unless we want to start bringing up Kid Rock, Ted Nugent, etc.

There's no example of Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, etc. calling for violence.
