This apparently is the exif data of the photo. Wide open at 24mm so still seems like 1/8000 is overkill but like I said, it might be standard practice in case there are situations where capturing motion arises.

I'm really disturbed that multiple people here wanted to see him get assassinated. It's one thing to hate him, but another entirely to want to see him get shot in the head in front of the entire count

She was born premature and spent a month in the NICU. She was only 4lbs when she was born! She has OT and PT for low tone. She is doing incredibly and I’m truly amazed by her every. single. day. Tiny

@paco you're not smelling your farts enough, if your solar powered house doesn't have power.  Guess the e-mach ain't getting the juice either.

We talkin' about shutter speed??

I don’t need to be reminded of that. And I agree with him that Trump himself is more guilty of overtly inflammatory language than his counterparts. Trump supporters like that he speaks out against the lunacy of the left. I don’t. I don’t like Donald Trump, his personality or how he conducts himself both politically and personally. But I’m not just going to ignore the absolute insanity that comes from the left and how they have their own manner of stoking those flames, fear mongering, racial baiting, and using marginalized groups for political gain, creating a culture of victimhood all while looking you in the eye and feigning concern. It’s sinister and deliberate. The right fires back by supporting a candidate who isn’t afraid to "call it out” and "tell it like it is” because their opinions are silenced everywhere else as being bigoted, fascist, literally Hitler. The left has a much bigger and louder platform and support online and in the media. They just do and pulling out Ted Nugent as the counter argument to that just highlights how weak a point that is. Nothing that I’m pointing out means I support the way Trump conducts himself.

I will not sit by and pretend one side is better or worse because I see what is happening and how out of control it is.

I don’t post much anymore because I literally have no time to. But when I do, there are far more posters on the right that I don’t ever respond to, engage with or entertain in any way. There are like 2 others outside of that I don’t engage with because they are just lame. I only point it out to show that I am not attempting to play one side over the other. It’s just my opinion and observations that it’s all out of control.

And I don’t have time to go back and forth beyond that today. We haven’t had power in 2 days, paco is on the road and I need to get my daughter to her PT.

Have fun making the same arguments to each other back and forth all day dorks!

You know who else had a **** hairline and loved amphetamines? 👀

Sorry about the power. 2 days in this heat is awful. Hope you and babygirl are surviving.

It's pretty much the same thing. Lack of light means you need a slower shutter speed, which causes blurring when there's motion. Though I was mistaken earlier , thinking a shutter speed that high was uncommon in full daylight, was thinking of a rule of thumb that applies to video not stills.

The primary function of shutter speed is light. Just like the primary function of aperture is light. Just like the primary function of medium sensitivity is light. There’s trade offs in every corner of the triangle, but the triangle is about light. Photography is the measurement of photons.

So no, it’s not pretty much the same Fn thing.

Understandably, the focus of the investigation right now is the shooter and how law enforcement and Secret Service allowed him to gain access to the grounds with a weapon and range finder.  They'll need to devote time to getting to the motive; nobody climbs up on a building with an AR 15 to assassinate a political candidate without a pronounced motive.  I suspect interviewing the parents should yield a lot of information.

Sooner or later, though, it will begin to focus on the ballistics evidence of the actual shooting and the timeline of everything that occurred.  Something tells me there will be just as many questions about that portion of the event as the obvious shortcomings in Secret Service preparations.  I'm waiting for an analysis of:

-- How many shots did the assassin get off?

-- How many rounds did the law enforcement sniper teams fire?

-- Which shot in sequence hit Trump?

-- Which shot in sequence killed the deceased, as well as seriously injured the other two shooting victims?

-- How many of the 4 sniper teams engaged in gun fire with the assassin?

-- What was the specific medical treatment given to Trump?

-- Need to see exact line-of-fire ballistic analysis of those wounded and killed

Many, many other questions as well.

But it is though, you even said so yourself. The minute you brought up blurring in your post, you admitted it was related to motion. Sorry, Bill, but you don't get blurring of the subject without motion.

god that's nasty...

also, what's that in her hand?

I don't get the shutter speed conspiracy.  What does it have to do with anything?  "Proof" that he was waiting for a photo op? Is that it?

The conspiracy theory that it was all staged and evidenced by the fact that the photog was using an unusually fast shutter speed The speed seems high but I agree with Bill's larger point that it can be explained away by shooting at f/1.6 with a camera that has a sensor known for its light sensitivity.

i'll see your D list comedian and raise you a governor.

Gov. Mark Robinson, who is the Republican nominee for governor, said in a recent campaign speech at a local church that "some folks need killing” after referencing how the U.S. has dealt previously with evil. Robinson, who has described himself as a MAGA Republican, delivered the speech in late June.

Speaking of shutter speeds -- if we look at this through the lens of Trump saying in a Presidential debate that the Secret Service should stand down and not protect Hillary Clinton, I think the work they did in Pennsylvania was nothing short of amazing.

Got it. Yeah that seems like a detail that is too advanced for the campaign that fired any reasonably qualified person 6 years ago. An actual fake assassination attempt by the Trump campaign seems like it would have ended in a person in a rubber Hilary Clinton mask being pulled away saying "and I would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for you meddling Real Americans!". The man can't do subtlety.

In that snippet, I would imagine he was talking about people like well, Hitler...Stalin, Putin, Hussein, etc. Enemy combatants. The "after referencing how the US" part kinda gives it away. Not saying there aren't R politicians saying dumb and hateful things, like that hag MTG. She's vile. Just talking about your attempted "gotcha" post.

Yep and it's pointless to have a debate over whose supporters say the most outrageous things on social media. Aside from it being impossible to quantify, it's also beyond ridiculous to imply that it has anywhere near the same impact as the leaders of a political party saying them.

it's not a gotcha post, but you also can't act as if kathy griffin has the same kind of clout and influence as a governor who just spoke at the RNC.

while you may be levelheaded enough not to take that to heart, the average cuck is getting fired up with hate. again, i'm not taking away from griffin being an ahole for doing what she did, just pointing out the difference in influence.

This is what he said in the prior sentence...

"We now find ourselves struggling with people who have evil intent,”

So if he was talking about Hitler, Stalin, etc, I wonder why he'd talk about this in the present tense.

Oh please it is inflammatory on both sides. Choosing one Biden remark as an example of how it’s not is disingenuous. Supporters on the left, politicians, celebs, social media, etc has people whipped into a frenzy with very little attempts from either side to cool tensions, call for peace and cooperation amongst various opinions or to treat each other civilly. Look at how the 2 debated each other - it was embarrassing. You have women running around claiming they need to delete period tracking apps from their phones or the government will accuse them of abortions and throw them in jail. I can’t even deal with one side claiming moral high ground over the other in this regard. People in this thread alone highlighting what was better about Hitler.

So you just stop it already.

2008: If you don't vote for Biden the republicans are going to put you in chains!

2024: If you don't vote for Biden, it's the last election we will ever have!

Honorable mention only because it's hilarious

2020: If you don't vote for Biden, you ain't black!

To be fair, he seems pretty stupid. He may not know they are dead. Hitler would only be...135 years old.

I need some clarification. WTF point are you trying to argue with this post, because as someone in the world of photography, your post reads like spaghetti.
