Even if you support spending cuts (nearly everyone does just to different degrees) and re-negotiating trade deals (which anyone with common sense knows improvements can be made to anything with such a massive scope) only morons approve their execution of the plan.

Some quick thoughts on "Liberation Day," also known as "Liquidation Day." Obviously, these tariffs are way beyond anything the market expected. I think very little of Trump and the administration

100 days in and still blaming Biden when during the campaign he was saying the stock market was good because he was going to win

Real world gas prices here mid week $2.95. Today it's up .04 to $2.99. I'm pissed at Giant as they have been over $3 mark for weeks. Even using bonus points they're way higher than others.

Thanks Biden!

Where Apple is going: https://focustaiwan.tw/business/202411270006 (CHIPS act says you're welcome). Apple is also accelerating its manufacturing outputs in India.

Where NVidia is already manufacturing in the US: https://www.tsmc.com/static/abouttsmcaz/index.htm (hatched in 2020, expanded significantly due to CHIPS)

TSMC was wooed by the CHIPS act, which has enabled virtually all of the expanded chip manufacturing that Trump is now trying to take credit for.

Newsom Asks Trump to Work With Him on $7.5 Billion Tax Credit for Hollywood

The proposal for a federal program came after the president called for tariffs on movies filmed overseas, causing confusion and concern across the industry.

Is the DOW seriously going to work it's way back down under 40,000? lol
