Oh no! Trade deals with China and India forthcoming. 401k at all time high. Robinhood nearing all time high. Now announcing strategy to lower drug prices. Shelves are fully stocked in stores. What an evil president we have.

Some quick thoughts on "Liberation Day," also known as "Liquidation Day." Obviously, these tariffs are way beyond anything the market expected. I think very little of Trump and the administration

There are no deals mate and we are almost at the 90 day mark. He will push out some thing but they will just be MOUs and have no teeth. Standard sheet and meaningless. Pure Marketing.

When you force people to pay more taxes, the government collects more taxes. How fascinating.

  • Stock market at record highs

  • 88 billion in revenue

  • Untold billions in business production investment in the US

  • Rate of inflation still declining from 40 year highs under Slurry Joe

  • Deluge of libtard tears

Yeah, I'm not seeing any downside.

Oh, and snagging some manufacturing from China to boot.

Oh wow, so the tariffs generated 88 billion in revenue and didn't cause mass inflation like we were assured they would? This is really surprising because I was reading through this thread and based on the comments we should all be dead right now.

lol imagine claiming to be a conservative and bragging about taxes being paid by Americans....

I know, and when libtards said the taxes would be paid by the American consumer via inflation, that's definitely what happened. lol

How are those inflation numbers looking, wee man? lol

Man, going through this thread from April is literal gold. If I was a very normal and stable person, I could have a hell of a time pulling up some posts this Saturday night. roll

"You thought inflation numbers were bad under Biden, just wait until tariffs kick in! REEEEEE!" roll

Companies literally increased prices solely because of his tariffs

Trying to change the subject already? Don't dodge the question, if the American consumer doesn't pay for them then who exactly do you think pays for the tariffs, moron?

Check the numbers, Michelle.

Remember how GDP was negative in the first quarter? Mainly due to companies frontloading imports to try to avoid paying the initial rounds of tariffs? Or have you forgotten about that already? Then there's the fact that Trump lowered the tariff rates drastically compared to his initial targets. Some importers have also been using bonded warehouses to delay tariffs payments.

It's funny when you Trumpers try to pretend to understand economics....

Yeah, it's super hilarious that virtually all of my predictions from April have been a billion more times accurate than all the libtards in this thread. You guys are very savvy! lol roll

US goods trade deficit widens in May as exports fall

The U.S. trade deficit in goods increased in May amid a decline in exports, but an ebbing inflow of imports likely positions trade to make a big contribution to gross domestic product in the second...

Just like KZAnne predicted would happen!

Sigh...can we just have a normal summer Friday for once.

I'm not at all worried.

We have historically had very little trade with Canada.

I was in niagara falls this week and maple syrup there was like 15 dollars for a bottle that was enough for maybe 1 single pancake breakfast for one person.

I'll stick with the tariff syrup from our grocery stores. And I'll still call it aunt jemimah.
