Some quick thoughts on "Liberation Day," also known as "Liquidation Day." Obviously, these tariffs are way beyond anything the market expected. I think very little of Trump and the administration

I'm fat now too? Fun.

Random question

When you sit on one of those Walmart scooters and make the seat dissappear is the popping sound from your arse cheeks or is that internal?

That one I'd consider rebuilding. I had one hell of a garage built for that s*** right there. Next year it gets air conditioning.

FWIW I did own an early 70's Firebird in my youth.

Wooderson was too nice a character.

Stop claiming to think. It only makes me chuckle when reading your attempts.

Judging by your preference for the last president and his failed heir apparent I doubt words and their meaning have ever been a concern for you. 😄

Cool story. Those job reports though.

Keep your chin up.

You'll find another one.

The deflection is strong. Still hilarious that there was one day between you bragging about the economy to this. Very impressive timing.

A nation in decline...

Consider three trends:

Zoom in: The labor market is frozen.

  • Very low rates of Americans with jobs are quitting or being fired each month. But those on the unemployment rolls are now staying there longer than at any time since before the pandemic.

  • Employers are instead experimenting with AI to make their workforces more productive, Axios' Courtenay Brown reports.

  • Young college grads are hit especially hart by this phenomenon, as entry-level roles are particularly hard to find.

Meanwhile, both marriage and divorce rates in the U.S. each year have both been in long-term decline.

Finally, 2025 is shaping up to be one of the worst years for home sales in a generation — possibly the worst in 30 years, per analyst Heather Long.

Are you drugs again?

As far as I'm concerned the economy is booming.

Suck it bish! 🤣

So far he’s crashed the stock market twice and seems to have a policy of firing whomever reports that job growth is going poorly

The funniest thing is those 73,000 jobs are going to be adjusted. Damn, that's rough for someone who was just trying to brag about the state of the economy.

Give a heads up when you get to the crash.

With enough discipline one could be created.

Job market hasn't been this bad since...well, Trump's first term roll

Apparently you got the covid treatment during the last administration. 😄

That chick would just post BS then round them down afterwards.

I would suggest it's been here since covid.

They've been papering over it with trillion dollar budgets since they shut down the globe.

I started playing heavier defense once they opened it. I'd have paid off the mortgage by now but at 3.4% I still do better in the market at this point.

Edit 3.37% but close enough.

…and now Trump will increase the budget and the deficit

Plus it ends in a few years

Sounds like they won't make much more than that anyway.
